I have known Dr Pena practically since he started his career, he delivered both my grandsons which are now grown adults and I see him for Gyn problems, I had blood gushing at one point worse than a heavy period, I went in to see him, he did a biopsy and ordered medication for me and Never again did I have that problem, He is One Dr I fully trust with my care.

Dr Pena wasn’t my normal doc when I was in labor with my baby he was just the on call dr so when he eventually came into my delivery room after being there for 8+ hours he didn’t even introduce himself he checked me out broke my water & left the room & I didn’t see him again till it was time to push & my after care was neglected he didn’t come to check on me to release me till a nurse had to force him to come to our room. So much more! Worst experience ever & this was my one & only birthing experience & he ruined it for me. Would not recommend him to anyone ever

After reading the previous reviews, I was a bit concerned. But his office had a mix up and the nurse practitioner I was supposed to see was out and they said I could see him instead. He was wonderful! He spent a lot of time with me going over my concerns, my symptoms, his thoughts, and even showed me several pictures and diagrams of what might be going on. He ordered a sonogram that I’m scheduled to have in one week and is going to go over the results with me as soon as the sonogram is complete. He was kind, showed concern, and was also very patient while listening to me. He also seemed extremely knowledgeable and wanted to help me understand what might be going on. I read reviews that said he had bad bedside manner, but after working as a RN for 15 years, I’ll take a knowledgeable doctor over aone with great bedside manner any day. That being said, he was very polite to me.

Listens, to the patient. Caring doc & makes a quick assessment. Efficient and professional dialogue!:):)

I would never let Dr. Pena deliver another child of mine. He forced me to get induced at 39 weeks without any medical reason. That stressed out my baby and guess what? Yeah I had to have a c-section. This doctor wants to do nothing but c-sections so he can get paid and be on his way! Never again!!!

He has explained every procedure well. Always listens to my questions. He doesn't rush through the office visits and is very kind. He helped us through a very difficult situation. Dr. Peña was very prudent with his words. I will recommend him as a Dr. He does an excellent job.

Dr. Pena has the worst bedside manner out of the group. He doesn't like to explain anything to a patient, because as he put it, it's a simple procedure! I would NOT recommend this man to my worst enemy. He is crass and downright abusive to his staff. Why he chooses to deal with the public is beyond me. His partners, Dr. Supnet and Dr. Wilder, are wonderful. AVOID Dr. Pena at all costs.
