Dr. DeRosa robbed my daughter—not just of her money, but of her trust, excitement, and peace of mind. If there had been even the slightest improvement, we would have been satisfied. But there was nothing. Nothing. It is truly unbelievable. From the first consultation, Dr. DeRosa called the procedure an 'easy fix.' My daughter spent months counting down, reassured at every step. Even on surgery day: “It’s easy! It’ll be perfect!”Yet, she left the OR unchanged. If it was so easy, why did nothing happen? Why did Dr. DeRosa ignore her post-op image requests? My daughter spent December break in tears—not from pain, but from realizing she’d been deceived. At the post-op, Dr. DeRosa was dismissive, even cruel—laughing as she said my daughter was “lucky” because another doctor would’ve told her to “get out” with vulgarity. The physical pain faded; the emotional devastation lingers. Let this be your warning: Dr. DeRosa does not care.

Neck lift turned out phenomenal
My neck had started sagging really bad, overall look was haggard. The neck lift went smooth, healed up to where the guy who cuts my hair asked 'I thought you had surgery' as it doesn't even show at all. 'Pleased with results' doesn't begin to describe it. I had it done under what they call 'twilight sleep', a first for me, that went off without a hitch. I would highly recommend Dr DeRosa and her staff !!!

Read BAD reviews before booking surgery!
I have dreaded writing this negative review, for my route Boston revision rhinoplasty surgeon, as Dr. Derosa has such a wonderful bedside manner that we had come to feel like friends. Because of this, I left my original five star review up for six years since my Boston rhinoplasty surgery...Trusting my surgeon’s quarterly assurance that my nose would become smaller and my hump would go away. Sadly, in reality, during the six years since my $16,000 Boston revision rhinoplasty surgery, over a dozen potential new patients “liked” my review...And may have gotten surgery based on the promise I was given, by Dr DeRosa, that my many surgical problems would correct themselves. I patiently met with Dr. Derosa, 3 to 4 times a year, for six years, as she tried to correct all the problems her surgery left on my nose. I received countless painful needle shaves, to reduce the size of my new nose hump, each leaving my nose swollen and bruised for several weeks. I also suffered through many fright

Jamie performed my rhinoplasty. From the moment the cast came off, we knew something was wrong. We let the swelling go down before unanimously agreeing that my nose was not supposed to look the way it did. There was cartilage protruding out of one side, a bump was created, and I couldn’t breathe. She offered to “try” to fix it but not before telling me to push with my fingers daily - like that would help. I went to a new surgeon who did an outstanding revision.

Dr. DeRosa did a rhinoplasty on me, a woman of 62, to address a bulbous tip that angled down. She did a spectacular job. She is also one of the warmest most personable surgeons one could want. She explained the procedure and did excellent follow up in her comprehensive, modern office/facility on Newbury Street in Boston. Her whole staff, including the anesthesiologist was informative and supportive. I highly recommend her perfectionist skills at plastic surgery.

I did not have a great outcome. I think Dr Derosa was in over her head with my nose from the start and how she handled my less then optimal result left much to be desired. She may be a decent surgeon for uncomplicated cases but if your nose is a complicated fix. You will get next to no support if something goes wrong and you will pay top dollar for it too.

Dr. DeRosa is a genuinely kind and caring doctor with a wonderful bedside manner. Unfortunately the results of my revision rhinoplasty are less than desirable and if I had known what I would have had to endure, (1 lengthy surgery, 1 corrective follow up surgery, and two office procedures) to try and correct asymmetrical nostrils that were never a problem pre-surgery, I would never have had surgery in the first place. My breathing is now more impaired than before and my nasal skin has taken a toll. I long for my old, slightly too long, wonky nose that at least I could breathe out of. Although I feel Dr. DeRosa had the best of intentions, I feel she perhaps got in over her head as I had a complex nose to begin with. I wish she had better informed me pre-surgery what the risks were and that sometimes ‘less is more’.

First let me start off by saying Dr DeRosa, is extremely talented surgeon. Aswell as very understanding and patient. Dr DeRosa gave me the nose I always wanted I have so much more confidence she performed a 6 hour surgery on me BTW I'm a guy...and I'm not patient ,at all. So I was unhappy for a long time I have thick skin and was a smoker for ten years. It took along time to heal and gave her a hard time...but in the end I couldn't be more thrilled with the outcome. She is amazing thank you Dr.

Dr. Derosa is truly amazing! She takes the time to listen to all of your concerns at your initial consultation, discusses what she can realistically do for you and does some photo imaging. Her staff is amazing and they are helpful every step of the way. I had a revision rhinoplasty with Dr. Derosa and I couldn't be happier with the results. I finally have the nose I've dreamed of for over 20 years. She is the best of the best!!!
