I would give 0 stars if it was an option. 'Dr' Aymond was the most narcissistic, condescending, non-empath, piece of ... I have ever seen in a medical office. Downplays your pain, doesn't listen to what you're saying, and then tries to twist your words to workers comp case manager. Waited for months to get in to see him, hopeful he could help me with my pain, just for him to tell me 'this is just how it's going to be now on'... just bad human being. If you have any choice of doctors, do not go to him. He's more into getting you cleared on paper and closing your case than he is helping you at all. Do not be fooled, he's not on your side at all, he's not in the middle, he's a workers comp puppet.

Fabulous Surgeon
Dr Aymond came across as all business on my first visit. He didn't seem very warm. However, he was honest & straight forward. He is an excellent surgeon! He is very professional. He handled my C5-6 fusion in 2006. I would highly recommend him!

I was forced to see doctor Aymond for well over a year due to an accident that occurred while working. He was not prepared on any of the visits during this time. He often contradicted himself, once becoming very frustrated and showing me the email he said he did not receive. On each visit he would look at my work case nurse manager before stating anything about my condition. Needles to say I am in worse shape today than the first time that I saw him. Part of my profession was to analyze people. My analysis of Dr James Aymond is that he is a puppet with corporate insurance companies pulling his strings. It would be interesting to see the ratio of worker’s compensation cases. On my final visit, after several tests that contradicted his “opinion”, he downplayed my condition. When choosing an orthopedic doctor or If assigned to Dr Aymond please continue past him in your search for an ethical, compassionate, competent and caring physician who adheres to “do no harm” to potential patients.

Dr. Aymond did a 2 level disc surgery on me and did disc surgery twice on my husband! He is an excellent surgeon and everyone in his office is super pleasant. He is very quiet, but his bedside manner is excellent and he is a good listener. He also did surgery on my father in law. I wouldn't trust any other surgeon. I highly recommend Dr. Aymond and his staff! Shout out to Laurie who is super sweet!

I have been seeing Dr. Aymond for a few years now. I have had both spinal fusion and cervical fusion surgeries by him. Dr. Aymond listens to his patients, is kind, compassionate, and tries to alleviate pain without surgery first, something I appreciate in a surgeon. And his surgical skills are first rate After a recent MRI, the radiology techs asked who did the work, exclaiming that his work was textbook perfect, something they do not often see. I cannot recommend Dr. Aymond highly enough!

i saw Dr Aymond 4 years ago with lower back pain and sciatica. He did x-rays and MRI. i had multiple problems with L4 L5. After trying shots and physical therapy I decided that i should get the fusion surgery. DrAymond left the decision up to me. After a 5 hr. surgery with rods, screws and grafts my lower back and leg if free of pain and i can play golf again. i would highly recommend this doctor!

Dr. Aymond is a great Doctor, I think all the negativity in the reviews must be from people trying to get painkillers or something. He has a perfectly fine bedside manner. My experience is as follows: 1) met with doctor Aymond, he diagnosed me with a herniated disc and ordered an MRI to facilitate a treatment plan. 2) Got a phone call from his nurse to schedule an MRI and a followup appointment with Dr A. 3) MRI 4) he gave me all the possible options for proceeding and recommendation.

I needed xrays done of neck and back as I filed for disability, not just for that, but, disability does not accept chiro's xrays I told the receptionist that is why I needed to be seen. Come to find out by Dr. Aymond who was rude about said he does not deal with disability. He did not take xrays and went off my chiro's exrays. I feel like My mom is owed her $50 back as they knew up front why I was coming there and they went ahead and scheduled me knowing Dr. Aymond does not deal with Disability

I was referred to Dr. Aymond for my lower back pain. He immediately had me take an X ray. When he finally came in the room after 30 minutes, he handed me a sheet of paper that said "Diagnosis: Lumbrosacral pain" and walked out very abruptly without explaining anything. The nurse refused to bring him back in the room since he was "too busy with other patients." I can only assume that once Dr. Aymond discovered I didn't need surgery, he saw me as a low value patient and treated me as such.
