Diagnosed me with a bronchial Cleft Cyst after just a biopsy. Four years later I find out I have a paraganglioma. Looking at a complicated surgery because it's grown. Absolutely do not go to Dr. Boyd.

Dr Boyd is knowledgeable and personable. He answered all of my questions. However the follow up by the clinic staff is at the very least frustrating!!! The message on the answering machine say " You call will be returned by the end of the next business day" Well I have waited an entire week and had to call again with the same result! My primary physician also had the same issues, office staff saying they were going to fax paperwork that day and 3 days later it was still not received!

Stay as far away from this guy if you have throat cancer. He will slice you up until he has no more use for you. You will suffer more pain than you can ever imagine and your recovery time will be months. He is willing to cut so much out of your throat that you may not be able to ever eat solid food again. And once he realizes he can cut no more, he will throw you under the bus because you are financially worthless to him. Remember, the guy is an ENT specialist. Contact Barnes Jewish hospit

Satisfied patient in Washington, MO – Jan 20, 2017
×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Boyd?
Misdiagnosed problem, had existing button trach 14 years, now had low oxygen at night. I asked for a regular trach tube at night. He told me to come back in a month! Even though I had proven low oxygen at night. Second visit, handed to prescription for wrong type of regular trach tube at end of visit. Wrong type of tube (I did not need balloon, I am not on a vent). Said Followup as needed. Medical records co-mingled with another patient with entirely different medical problems with new EMR
