Dr. James Gullett, MD

We are extremely grateful to have had Dr. Gullett deliver our baby. Unlike many other OBs, Dr. Gullett provides a level of personalized care that truly sets him apart. He offers his personal contact number and is accessible outside of normal office hours, ensuring that his patients always have support when needed. Additionally, Dr. Gullett makes it a priority to deliver all of his patients’ babies himself, which is rare to find in today’s practice. His team, Pat and Nancy, also made each appointment feel comfortable and less overwhelming, contributing to an overall positive experience. We are so glad to have found Dr. Gullett and highly recommend him to anyone seeking excellent, individualized care.

I believe this man is an awful physician. He spouts statistics like a machine and doesn't address medical issues...I think it is remarkable. If you like charts that fit into his agenda, he is the doctor for you. There is only one way and it is his. He talks you out of pains you are experiencing and forget wanting medication.

Dr. Gullett has delivered both of my children (December 2021 and June 2023). For my second pregnancy, I went in for a routine appt when I was 34 weeks. Dr. Gullett realized the baby was growth restricted and confirmed via ultrasound that the baby needed to be delivered in the next 24-48 hours. He got me in with an MFM immediately to confirm his recommendation. My daughter was born at 34w3d and arrived perfectly healthy. I truly believe Dr. Gullett saved her life. He held my hand both emotionally and literally through an incredibly stressful situation. He and his staff (Nancy and Pat) go above and beyond at every opportunity. They've become like family and we feel so lucky to have been in their care for the safe delivery of our children.

I had an unusual issue that several other Doctor's discounted or misdiagnosed. Dr. Gullett believed me when I discussed my symptoms and found a solution so I could have a healthy, pain free life. This was in 1983. I credit him that I am still alive today.

Dr. Gullet is super friendly and nice. He cares about his patients very much. He tried his best to take care of me. Can not express how much I appreciate his help. Love him!

I am so grateful to God I landed in his hands. I have only had very pleasant experiences while in his care. He works at The Women's Hospital of Texas, which is a top tier hospital for women's health. From the very beginning, his office worked me into their busy schedule quickly for my hysterectomy consult. He had me in ultrasound the next day, and booked for surgery at the end of December, which is where I am now. I had a total abdominal hysterectomy w/bilateral salpingectomy. The hospital staff speaks highly of him, which further increased my gratitude for being his patient. You can't go wrong under his care :-)

I had the best experience ever with Dr. Gullet. He is such a gentlemen and very professional. I was coming from a bad diagnosis from another doctor who wanted to do a non necessary surgery and Dr. Gullet with his vast knowledge handle things exceptionally, leading me to resolve my problems perfectly, with no surgery. He is so smart and I will be thankful to him all my life. His wife Patty who works with him is also a delightful classy lady ( nurse) who adds a perfect touch of happiness and professional guidance though the processes. God bless both of them.

My only hope is that he wont retire anytime soon. His appointment is never running very late. He does not make his patient wait for 1-2 hours. He is very experienced and nice.

I am glad I switched to Dr.Gullett it was the best choice I could have done for me and my baby!! Nancy and Patt were always so caring, knowledgeable and attentive. Throughout my whole pregnancy, Dr.Gullett was always on top of our care. We found out my baby had IUGR and we need to have this baby ASAP I wanted to have my baby naturally he explained to me the risk and possible complications if had thru natural birth; I thank Dr.Gullett for his expertise and respect of my choice to try to have my baby naturally due to hospital timing the best choice was to have my baby via C section god works in mysterious ways I am glad we had my baby via C section with no risk to my baby and my recovery has been great I thank Dr. Gullett and his team.

Dr. Gullett has the sweetest bedside manner he is kind and knowledgeable. He truly tries to make his patients feel like family. His nurse/ wife Pat is also phenomenal. They do their best to get me my medication and put me in for an appointment. Not once have i felt uncomfortable going to see this doctor.

I highly recommend Dr. Gullett. I've been seeing him for almost 10 years and he recently delivered my baby. I could not have asked for better care. He and his nurse Pat are by far the best. I wouldn't go to another doctor.

Dr. GULLETT has been my OBGYN for over 40 years and his kind gesture to see me in the Texans Woman’s ER on his day off and on Christmas Eve, means more than he’ll ever know! He is a great doctor!

Time flies. I have had my precious baby for one month. I want to say thank you to Dr. James Gullett. I have been seeing Dr. Gullett as my OB since Feb 2020, who was recommended by a friend. I really appreciate Dr. Gullett’s care and advice during my pregnancy. This is my first baby at late 30. I was excited about my pregnancy but also very nervous. Dr. Gullett is always patient to listen to me and provides advice. He is always prompt to respond my text and makes himself available. I trust his experience and knowledge. When it comes time, I was very comfortable to follow his decision during my delivery. I also thank his team, Nancy and Pat, who also helped me a lot. As an expected mom, I had a lot to prepare and learn. They helped me with things I need such as ordering my breast pump and preparing HR documents needed by my work place. They are always patient and informative. I am very happy with my experience.

Dr. Gullett is the best. He’s a great listener who has his patient’s best interest at heart.

Dr. Gullett is an amazing OBGYN. I am a high risk patient due to my condition and allergic reaction to certain medication. I had complete confidence in his decision for my surgery due to his wisdom and experience. He truly cares about doing what is best for his patients and gives them very good information about what to expect. His nurses are the best. They are dedicated professionals who care about each patient.

After I needed a doctor here in thr US, I got recommended to Dr Gullett by friends. I have been a patient here for 8 years. Ms Pat and Nancy in the office are wonderful, very friendly and helpful. Dr Gullett is a fantastic doctor. He listens and will always give you his honest and best advice. He delivered my baby and I could not have had a better experience even during covid 19. From when I was pregnant till after delivery he was so amazing and helpful to me. He will even call me himself, to follow up on stuff. I can and will highly recommend him to anybody.

I was looking to change OBGYN. A friend of mine referred me to Dr James Gullet. I am so glad I switched. He is an amazing doctor, caring and very knowledgeable. He listens, gives the best advice and provides the best treatment. He promptly returns patient’s calls, in person. His assistant Pat is a wonderful lady, sweet and caring. The office staff is very nice as well. I highly recommend Dr Gullet!

He is the best of the best doctor,wonderful doctor with great office staff and I won’t go anywhere else. He took excellent care of me during my pregnancy and after delivery too , then he took care of me during one of my surgery, he even took time to call me after hours to make sure and check on me how I was doing, whether I was ok or not!
