Dr Johnson's Staff
Dr Johnson was great with my mother but follow up from his office was horrible- we ended up going to another Orthopedic Group where they followed up the next day to see how she was doing and actually called me back within 24 hours of leaving a message. Maybe staff should understand at Dr Johnson's off that people are in pain and they need to follow up to make sure patient care is indeed PATIENT care!!

Dr Johnson has been very supportive in my belief that, through physical therapy, I can regain pain free movement of my shoulder after rotator cuff tears. It’s motivating to know that he has that confidence in me! Allowing me to make the decision after all of the options were presented was paramount.

The best!
Dr johnson and the whole crew there are really excellent! I had ZERO pain after my reverse shoulder replacement. I went home 6 hrs after surgery; even the bandage makes it easy to shower with out having to find tape and occlusive wrap to protect it. Having a nerve block left in for 3 days with a pump is ingenious! If you are nervous about surgery, talk to this guy- you’ll get real answers.

Exceptional Surgeon
I am so grateful to be under the care of Dr. Johnson! He is kind, patient, and excellent at treating shoulders! He listens to my needs and has been so helpful on my healing journey! I highly recommend him if you need a shoulder repaired!

I have had both a rotator cuff repair and meniscus knee repair done by Dr. Johnson. He has an excellent bedside manner and is extremely competent. Both surgeries went very well, despite more extensive damage being discovered during the surgeries. Absolutely recommend!

Lacks empathy and misdiagnosed my injury
I visited Dr. Johnson in November 2023 after a knee injury from skiing. I got an MRI at Panorma and then went in to review the results with him. This appointment was very fast and later on I learned he did not go over everything he should have. I had no idea of several other injuries in my knee, until I got a second opinion. Fast forward to January 2024 - I still cannot bend or straighten my leg. It is hot to the touch, red and inflamed. I called the Dr and he leaves a voicemail telling me thats normal and to just take my meds. He showed no concern and provided no help. He recommended to still go to PT. After my second MRI in late December 2023, several things worsened since my initial visit. I now have to get surgery due to Dr. Johnsons lack of care and I am still in constant pain. He even told me I will be up and skiing by February and I will be fine, which is not the case at all. I wouldn't recommend this doctor.
