Five years on a complete hip replacement by Dr Lawler and couldn't be happier. Fast recovery. Back to work in one week. Totally free from the hip pain I endured for years. Hiking, biking, swimming, basketball, volleyball, softball and construction work are all part of my normal routine again.

Fantastic doctor, caring, competent, and no big ego like some doctors I have dealt with. He seems to LOVE what he does. My hip replacement surgery went so well! Highly recommend Dr Lawler!

Competent, respected, kind, communicative. Never having had any surgeries, I was anxious about shoulder surgery several years ago but Dr. Lawler was patient with my questions and worries which made an otherwise unpleasant issue as pleasant as one might experience.

Wonderful , kind,excellent ,caring ,listens to all your needs and is focused. It was so nice to have found Dr. James Lawler, M D and his staff. Best experience I have ever encountered in this Orthopedic medical field, his hospital of choice most caring hospital in this county A #1 French now called Dignity health, thank you for giving me a better life, in my book he is 200 stars so glad to have found him

Dr Lawler has been practicing for over 35 years and enjoys what he does and the patients he sees.  His practice consists primarily of total joint replacements and patient education for the best possible results. He has been using the Anterior Approach for Hip Replacement for over 8 years.
