Upper droopy eyelid gone!
Fabulous job on my upper eyelid surgery. Dr. Merritt came highly recommended to me by another surgeon. And he didn’t disappoint. He did exactly as I asked and I’m very happy with the results. I had 2 follow up appts, first one to remove the stitches and the second one to check how they were healing. Told him I’m happy with the results and he said to call him if I ever needed anything. I’ve recommended him to family members. A+

I had a Friday afternoon appointment with Dr. Merritt. I waited an hour and a half and never got in to see him. I gave up and left. This is completely disrespectful of other peoples schedules.

This doctor is the best. I had seen several different types of so called doctors over the last year. No one could figure out my condition. He was all over it and had me diagnosed in no time at all.

Dr. Merritt is the best of the best! I had eyelid surgery with a different doctor and the results came out extremely poor. Dr. Merritt corrected the other surgeon’s work and did so with skill, expertise and above everything- compassion. Compassion is extremely rare to see in a doctor these days; however Dr. Merritt is one of the most compassionate and skilled doctors I have ever met. I would not only recommend Dr. Merritt, but there is no other eye doctor I would see.

I went to my f appointment, walked up to the receptionist and started getting the negative vibes from his scruffy staff. Waited an hour and a half past my appointment time, no one expressed any concern or offered any information so I left. This time I think I left with this lesson learned: When contemplating engaging a new doc. visit the office first. Look at and talk to the staff. Ask the folks in the waiting room how long past their appointment they have waited.

Extremely kind and very informative. Excellent with our nine year old. Office is well kept and clean. Staff was friendly and we did not have to wait long to be called back. Maybe 10 minutes. I would definitely recommend Dr. Merritt.

Dr. Merritt repaired the torn ligament in my eye, and adjusted the other eye. I am so happy with the outcome of the surgery! I first met Dr. Merritt when my mother need plastic surgery to repair an eyelid after she had had multiple surgeries for glaucoma. I would give Dr. James Merritt III as many stars as I could for his excellent oculoplastic surgery skills and his kindness to his patients.
