Dr. James Nikoleit, MD

I have been with Dr. Nikoleit for the last 25 years! I moved to Fox Lake area from Glen Ellyn in 2006. The care I received from him, thus far was well worth the drive to Lombard Downers Grove area for my appointments. I was so happy when he moved up to this Lake in the Hills location. He always takes the time to listen and respond, but always tells me what I need to hear, not what I want to hear! The respect is mutual!

This was my first appointment with Dr. Nikoleit. He was very professional, yet had a nice sence of Humor. Appointment was thorough.

I needed to find a new primary care doctor and came across Urbancare. I selected Dr. Nikoleit on my insurance website. From the time I initially called for an appointment to the time I left after that appointment I was handled with first class care. Everyone was kind and polite, patient and caring. Upon meeting him it was obvious that Dr. Nikoleit truly cared and wanted to hear my health issues. He was very thorough and made sure I fully understood. He asked questions and answered mine thoroughly.

Went for a general physical with Dr. Nikoleit and was surprised by how rude he was. The doctor was turning red and frustrated while speaking about my health concerns. I was told to make another appointment after he addressed none of my concerns. I then was charged a late cancellation fee because of me not showing up to a appointment that he forced me to set. He is an embarrassment to the medical field and makes a bad reputation for all doctors.

If you like when a Dr fat shames you and your family and doesn’t listen to requests then this is your guy. Almost anyone will be better.

Dr. Nikoleit is very caring and thorough and listens to what you have to say but also makes you comfortable..

Dr. Nikoleit , made me feel comfortable regarding my health concerns. As well as offering medication he also suggested support groups to help with my personal situation. He listened to my concerns and addressed them in a very professional manner and also with a little humor. I will definitely recommend him to friend and family.

Dr. Nikoleit took the time to listen to my health concerns. Was very knowledgeable and made me feel very comfortable. Will definitely be back to see him, he is just what I was looking for.

Finds time, to be human with patients. We need a little compasion, every once and a while.

Dr. Nikoleit and Robyn have taken most excellent care of my mother. We found him 10 years ago I believe. His specialty with dealing with the elderly is very apparent from minute one. My mother will be celebrating her 97th birthday on Tuesday! Dr. Nikoleit and Robyn are absolutely wonderful with mom!

First, I was there for a pre surgery appointment. The nurse staff is attentive, professional and accommodating, he is not. This was my 4th visit to his office. 1. Called me by the wrong name with my file in front of him 2.Asked if I had a single mastectomy .I had to correct him that I had a double. You can tell by looking at me. 3. Commented and i quote..'you must have had really bad cancer". My response, no I was stage 1. Did not know what medications I was taking 5. Did not know I was there for a preoperative appt for my reconstruction and could have cared less Never asked me how my journey was and never read one item in my file. This is dangerous, irresponsible,degrading as a patient. Cancer is a journey and to have a doctor whom you should trust treat you, your medical situation and body with such disrespect should be evaluated. Not acceptable! I have had an amazing experience with all my other doctors during this Cancer journey. Not with him and I won't be back!!!

Dr. Nikoleit has been a great doctor for me the last few years. He is extremely knowledgeable And has a great demeanor. If you are looking for a doctor he would be an excellent choice.

Excellent visit!!He is very knowledgeable and listening all the concern, always polite!!Would not change him ever!!
