Excellent physician, and I should know!
When my physician of 30 years retired I needed to find a new primary doctor. Having had a small part in his training I remembered him as bright, hard working and caring. I chose him several years ago and he continues to exhibit all those fine attributes! .

Treats you like family!
I have been seeing Dr. Tarala for the past 10+ years. He always listens with compassion and care. When I was considering surgery and was reluctant, he encouraged me that it was the best thing for me and said "If you were my wife I would tell you to do it". This gave me a sense of calm that it was the right thing and it turned out to be crucial to my health. You need to have patience with the office though as there is often a long wait time.

I love My Dr T! When I had Covid he saw me twice a week for 3 weeks I think. He swabbed my nose. He saw my mother as a patient before her death, he wrote and sent the loveliest card with hand written note inside. He never rushes you in your appointment, you might have to wait on him, but I’d gladly wait as long as I needed to to see the best damn doctor in the Cuse!

Dr.Tarala is not only excellent physician but a class act. I have numerous issues medically and he always takes his time with me, listens, and does a thorough exam. I could not imagine having anyone else taking care of me! I trust him completely! Many doctors could learn from him.

Dr. Tarala is a nice guy and I have been his patient for over 5 years. Although he is a nice doctor the CNY Family Care group is terrible. And I mean, terrible!! Normally that wouldn't be a problem but the group dictates rules that limit Nurse Practitioners, drive up costs for patients, and violate the Hippocratic oath. If Dr. Tarala were to move to a different practice I would consider going back. But the CNY Family Care group should be shut down immediately.

My husband had an appointment with Dr.Tarala on 8//16. I had some medical issues that I told Dr. Tarala about thinking I would be scheduled for my own appointment. Instead Dr. Tarala fit me in between tests my husband needed and treated me the same day. He's the best doctor we have seen in a long time. Always following up on major issues either by phone or scheduling of another appointment. We think very highly of him and would recommend him. Even our adult daughter now sees him.
