Dr. James Wheeler has always been very kind and he listens to everything I say about my medical history and care. I have been able to discuss some medical issues that were not related to my well woman visit and was given very good medical advice and possible referrals if needed. His compassionate spirit has always been amazing for me. I trust his judgement and wish he was my PCP. Please note to have the best medical care and advice requires an open and honest dialogue with your doctor. Dr. Wheeler is concerned with every aspect of your medical care and I would highly recommend him.

Dr.Wheeler has been my Gyn for over 15 years. I trust his medical opinion in all health matters. I have always found him kind, concerned and with my best interests at heart. He cares about me as a whole person. I always feel that I have received the 'best' when I have my appointments with him.

Stay away from this doctor. He is incredibly inappropriate and WILL put you on 200 mg of spironolactone as he did to me, my mother, my sister and anyone I recommended to him. He bullied me into staying on my medication when he KNEW I didn't have a thyroid problem. He told me I had insulin resistance, but never took a glucose test. He told me I was the hot sister before giving me a pap smear. UGH WORST DOCTOR IN TOWN!

When I confronted Dr. Wheeler about a blatant oversight regarding my care, rather than accepting responsibility, he insulted and belittled me for several minutes and referred me to another doctor. After polling cohorts who I knew saw him as well, I found that almost all had stopped seeing him because of incompetent care and repulsive bedside manner. He even conducted my well woman exam without asking if I was still breastfeeding or if menstruation had resumed yet since giving birth. INCOMPETENT.
