Dr Teixeira is one of the rarest of the rare! Knowledgeable, with the most caring bedside manor. She is so dedicated to her patients well being! She has been caring for my disability daughter for about 6 years. My daughter has not been the easiest of patients. Dr Teixeira ability to relate with compassion while educating has completely put my daughter at easy and so has been able to provide excellent care. We see 100s of doctors a year. Dr Teixeira is definitely our favorite! I highly recommend her!!!

excellent doctor. performed aversion on my baby at 39 weeks with gentle skill. she consulted ny manhattan obgyn whom i had care with in my first trimester before moving to sleepy hollow in order to compare notes on the baby. i was therefore able to have a vaginal delivery instead of a csection. excellent bedside manner as well.

My grandmother didn't even get in to her appointment! Dr. Teixeira cancelled her September appointment and her office pushed off her appointment until FEBRUARY! This was not a cancelation by my grandmother! Since helping my 85 year old grandmother for the past three years, I've noticed how UNFAIR offices are and take advantage of seniors! She was CRYING on the phone not understanding how a doctor couldn't fit her in because of a cancelation made by the doctor! It's heartbreaking seeing offices unable to accommodate faults of their own!

I started seeing Dr Teixeira in 2017. I was in my mid thirties and discouraged about trying and not yet being pregnant but she told me I was not in fact too old and to keep trying and be patient. I appreciated how comfortable she made me feel as a patient and encouraging. I found out I was pregnant July 2020 during the pandemic. While my husband wasn’t allowed to come to appointments, they did everything to put me at ease. Dr. Teixeira was my original OBGYN but once you get pregnant they encourage you to see everyone cause any of them may be there delivery day. Dr Teixeira was actually there for part of the time while I was in labor- so patient and comforting. She is a wonderful OBGYN- I would recommend her to anyone she is a great doctor and great with patients.

Dr. Teixeira is an incredible doctor who actually cares about her patients. She takes as much time as you need, truly listens to your concerns and is happy to answer all of your questions. She was my OB-GYN for my son's prenatal check ups and she delivered my son by an emergency C-section. (He was in distress and the cord had wrapped around his neck) She saved my son's life. If not for her kindness, concern and quick action, I don't know where our family would be today. She truly is the best!

Outstanding doctor. Kind, compassionate, gentle. In 54 years I've never had such a kind, competent and helpful doctor. I've given her name to many women and will continue to do so....just hope she doesn't get so busy I can't get in when I need to....lol. She returns calls, explains procedures fully, etc. This is the first time I've felt moved to write a review....She is that worthy.

She treats her patients just like her family member. She is a great and patient listener and takes her time to answer every question we ask. I had most of my Gynaec checkups with her for my first baby n I will definitely recommend Phelps to be the best hospital with the most beautiful n experienced doctors.

She was so wonderful delivering my son. I HIGHLY recommend.

I felt so comfortable with her. She is amazing. Took time to talk with me and explain what was happening. She listened and answered my questions and her manner allayed all my fears. I recommend her highly.
