Dr. Jay Pepose, MD

I highly recommend Dr. Pepose! About 15 years ago I had a very successful LASIK surgery done at his office, so naturally next time I needed an elective eye procedure, he was my top physician of choice. Earlier this week he helped me understand my options, spent a great deal of time with me, answered all of my questions, and was extremely thorough in his evaluation. Ultimately, I was actually not a great candidate to immediately proceed with the surgery as I was hoping, but I can’t even tell you how much I appreciate an honest physician who actually considers the risks with the circumstances at hand. So many others would likely proceed to make some extra money, but I really believe Dr. Pepose is making decisions or offering recommendations for his patients as if they’re members of his own family. If you’re considering anything his office offers, look no further, he’s simply the best!

Dr. Pepose reviewed the results from their almost 10 screenings prior to his consultation and found that my eye was very short, which would cause problems during the surgery. He has recommended using an additional surgeon that has more experience than his staff in this type of surgery. I am awaiting next steps to proceed.

Dr not on time. Sign says you pay if you don’t show up. I’m sitting in an exam room for an hour right now. Terrible service.

I spent nearly 3 hours having my eyes measured a zillion ways. I opted to pay for the lens replacements that Medicare won't cover. I can now work on my computer, drive and do everything (as long as the lighting is OK) without any glasses whatsoever. This is one of the few times that I have spent money on myself and it was well worth it.

I had cataract surgery on both eyes by Dr. Pepose. He listened to my concerns (couldn't drive at night or read street signs) and recommended a lens that now lets me see like I did in my 20s!! No readers; great distance vision!!

Dr Pepose and all of his staff are amazing and have helped my 2 daughters and I have great vision!! Casey the Lasik coordinator went over and above on more than one occasion to make sure my daughters had everything necessary for a great outcome from their vision correction. She answered all my questions and was always only a phone call away. Which is wonderful during COVID when only the patient could be at the appointments. Dr Pepose even treated my daughter for an after hours emergency so quickly and efficiently. His professionalism and caring was amazing!! I would not have taken my daughters anywhere else. Thanks to all his amazing staff in the care of my family and I.

Dr. Pepose is professional and instills total confidence in me and everyone I have recommended see him. Before I switched to Dr. Pepose I went to two other Drs. for years. Neither informed me or noticed that I had an inherited disease called Map Dot Dystrophy. It could complicate eye procedures like cataract surgery. Dr. Pepose diagnosed me and knew exactly how to care for my issue in order to ameliorate the problem. I have great faith in Dr. Pepose.

Dr. Pepose spent a lot of time thoroughly examining me and even called my oncologist. He wanted to make sure my condition was not caused by something very serious. I really appreciated his thoroughness.

Friendly and courteous medical assistants and front desk staff. Efficient process. Dr. Pepose is friendly, knowledgeable and takes the time to not only explain everything but to also answer all questions.

Staff and Dr were excellent. I could see 20/15 the next morning. I would recommend this procedure and Dr to everyone! I wish i would have had this surgery years ago. Amazing!

The staffs and doctor Pepose were really friendly and informative about the procedure. The surgery went really well. I did not feel any pain throughout the surgery, and Dr. Pepose guilded me throughout the whole surgery very well. The follow up check-ups went quick and easy. Really satisfied with the team at Pepose Vision Institute.

Everything was so well organized and the staff were all so friendly. I felt well taken care of. Dr Pepose is a total miracle worker.

I had cataract removed and Symfony Tecnis lenses inserted during surgery by Dr Pepose. The nurses Jenn and Amy and Denise were terrific. They were professional and informative but fun to be with. I found the surgery fascinating to watch as I saw different forms on my eye transform. I am sure it helped tremendously to have some varsette to relax me.
