Dr Agrawal correctly diagnosed my problem by suggesting an endoscopy even though the symptoms were really generic and vague. I did everything she told me to after my celiac diagnosis, and now I am well again! Very glad to have had her assigned to me by the practice. Today was talking about her with another one of my MDs and found we were both very pleased with her. Patient in Florence

Dr. Agrawal is not in the line of work of helping people. I was misdiagnosed by her many times and wasted 5 years of my life seeing her, spending lots of money on medications and many colonoscopies and endoscopies, etc. and did not get better. I went to see another doctor and he got it right at the first appointment. Agrawal is not profesional at all!!! - irresponsible, not sympathetic, doesn’t answer questions properly and has really bad bedside manners.

She told me when she walked in that she had diagnosed me based on reading my file, barely examined me, took no history, asked no appropriate questions, including “where does it hurt?” She spent 5 minutes with me. Bizarrely, she lied to me and said a test didn’t require eating radioactive material, when it does. This doctor doesn’t believe in informed consent. Or doing her job, I guess. Her diagnosis was wrong, btw, but I never saw her again. Horrible experience, couldn’t have been much worse.

Had first colonoscopy at Valley Med surgical center in Amherst and left traumatized. I was brought into the procedure room 30 minutes early and left there. In clear view was the colonoscope and areas of uncovered medical equipment. There was no excuse for this and Dr. Agrawal was not very sympathetic. Would not use again...nor would I use Valley medical surgical center. I felt patronized and distraught. Please, do the colonoscopy!! Procedure is the easy part.

Dr. Agrawal is amazing. After my visit with her, she managed to schedule my endoscopy for the following day. I was in a tremendous amount of discomfort, and she responded with care, compassion and zero judgement. I highly recommend her.

Dr Agrawal is a class act, She is well-read and super smart but also compassionate and takes extra time w patients to answer questions. As both a local physician and her patient I can attest that she even comes in to see patients on her day off and has been awarded the Community Clinician award by the Massachusetts Medical Society.

Dr. Agrawal took care of me in an emergency setting. She had a calming effect and explained the situation well. She has a sense of humor that myself and my family found very relaxing, but at the same time it was clear she was smart and competent. When she left the room, the nurses told me her procedural skills were superior. After the procedure, I had no pain and she took time to explain the results to us and arrange follow up. I would give her more than 5 stars if I could.

I really like Dr. Agrawal, and have great confidence in her abilities, but the wait to be seen by her is terrible, especially for the 5 minutes she spends w/me. The front office staff rarely smiles and is unfriendly. It seems like there's a "million" of them on the other side of the glass window. People arrive asking how far behind she is running, or look resigned to the long wait ahead. Patients are scheduled 10 minutes apart--therein begins the wait problem...

insufficient colonoscopy prep even tho my history was well documented. tried to minimize liability. no preauthorization, doesn't work with insurances. if you like doing a painful prep 2x and spending more time than necessary in the hospital AND have buckets of $$ you've come to the right place....

You walk into an office hoping to get well. You see an over crowded facility with some desks in the hall ways. Most of the staff is morbidly obese. Then you wait an hour for your appointment. Then the doctor tells you nothing about your disease, just prescribes you drugs, tells you that diet will not change your situation and that if you do not follow her drug regimen she is going to cut out your bowels. This doctor has the terrible bed side manner.
