Dr. Jeffrey Levenda, MD

Does not keep track of the fact the prescriptions will run out between office visits, then does not respond to refill requests from pharmacy or patient.

I accompanied my aunt to her appointment with Dr Levenda. He entered the room 90 minutes after the scheduled appointment time, with no apology or explanation. There was only one other patient in the waiting area.He did not listen to aunt's concerns, and dismissed my concerns with a flip answer. He was rude, condescending, and not respectful of our time. Because this is not my physician, I cannot 'fire' him, but I will recommend my aunt find another PCP due to his uncaring nature, and disrespectful demeanor.

New patient, now former patient. Ninety-minute wait and then listened to him gripe about his partners and how busy he was. Non-engaging and unprofessional. Perhaps he was having a bad day. Not exactly the professional that I want to trust my future medical care with....unfortunately.

He was rude, treated me like I was an idiot. I was referred to him from my doctor never again. I should have known better when he was easy to get into. Plus he is never on time.

I switched to Dr. Levenda just over a year ago from another provider. Dr. Levenda is very smart and cares a lot about his patients, he try’s to resolve issues as quickly as possible. I am writing this after reading some of his past reviews. I have seen him within the past week. Yes the wait was long about 45 minutes however that was not his fault it was a staffing issue; he only had one nurse working that day. The nurse stated she was sorry for the delay and thoroughly did her job without cutting corners, as did Dr. Levenda. I felt like my care was a priority for him. I do not remember a time in my life when I have not had to wait to see the doctor, I have always planed my day around my appointment, not try to squeeze it in as a quick stop and go. Aside from the wait I feel that care of patients is a top priority and my complaints and concerns have always been validated. I even get a print out of what was wrong, discussed and a path of action moving forward.

Levenda was without a doubt one of the most uncaring, unprofessional individuals I have ever had the displeasure of encountering. I went to him as a new patient to establish with him and go over meds and blood work. He never made eye contact, had a rude and impatient demeanor. He typed the intake on his computer and then tried to dismiss me without talking about why I was there or if there were and issues, etc. When I stopped home and explained I wanted to do early blood work for thyroid medication, he rolled his eyes and told me to setup another appointment. I said no. The lab is down the hall from his office and I asked if he could please order the labs so I could get them done while I was in Ft. Wayne that day. He was super irritated and tersely said he would order them, turned on his heel and left the room. Everything about the visit was unpleasant and unprofessional.

New patient review.. First off I had to wait for one hour and 20 mins to be seen. I was going in for a physical and really didn't get any information. I was asked alot of questions and really wasn't given any information on how I was doing. I did like the amount of details that were asked. I didn't like that he questioned my other doctors and suggested I switch from my specialists to just seeing him . They have been my doctors for years and I trust them. He came across as rude when questioning their treatment plans. My medical team has been in place for a quiet awhile. I can say he won't be a part of my team. He isn't for me, maybe other people may like his style.

Almost seemed to be angry with me for trying to get to the bottom of my problems instead of just taking medication. Even to get blood work for my sons thyroid I was made to feel like something was wrong with me. Halfway nice guy but just not a great doctor. Now I’ve waited weeks for him to tell me my results to a heart scan. I just don’t have the time to play games and wait so long just to wait

I had gone through several years without health insurance or poor insurance. It was near impossible to get time off work. When I finally was able to see a doctor, Dr Lavenda was able to do alot of catch up medical work for me. I am a lot healthier now than the first time I saw him.

Friendly staff. Had to wait. He wants only facts. Brusque in nature. Will say he shamed me into resuming exercise program and activities.

Dr. Lavenda is an exceptional Physician with an excellent bedside manner. He is a very personable Doctor and explains symptoms and treatment options thoroughly. I highly recommend Dr. Lavenda for your family and sports medicine care.

I did not have to wait long. I feel like Dr. Levenda listened to my complaints and was able to isolate the area of pain. I did not get a lot of feedback on the cause of my pain or treatment options but he ordered X-rays and I have a follow up appointment. The anti inflammatory medication prescribed is helping.

My experience was great. Best doctor I've ever had. Very empathetic. He Diagnosed and resolved a knee issue I had for a year and was told by others to get surgery. I even took my son for concussion eval and Dr Levenda explained everything to me in simple terms. I can understand others getting upset for not being cleared right away but I am glad Dr L wants to do what is right not just what is convenient. Highly recommended physician.

His staff was helpful, but he was awful to visit. He doesn't listen to the patient and clearly has a god complex. Comes off as very arrogant. Guess what, people vote with their feet. Learn some professionalism. He went so far as to slam the doctor that referred us to him and recommend we not go back to our referring doctor. Well, we trust that Dr. more than Levenda. Find another physician for a concussion! Get a better bedside manner. Theres nothing wrong with being a nice person.

He was awful to visit!! He did not listen to me at all. He did not do what I asked of him. He did nothing but look on his phone while I was explaining my symptoms and he inevitably misdiagnosed me. In addition to questioning my financial situation. Unethical and rude.
