Dr. Jeffrey Lewis, MD

Back in the early 1990s I was a patient of his. I was concerned about symptoms I had. After a number of visits with him and describing my symptoms-which turned out to be a type of seizure disordered, he basically said "it was in my head." Well the symptoms I gave to him were 'classic' for a seizure disorder. And he basically did NOT believe me. So he set me up with a neurologist in Duluth. And then that doctor finally gave me a care plan to address it. So here I was suffering with seizures for months and Dr. Lewis said he didn't believe me. So if your having any medical problems for a long time under is care, find another doctor!! Or better yet do not see him at all and find a doctor that will listen to you.

He did not listen to my concern. He immediately latched on to a wrong diagnosis, which still remains in my chart today, without referencing my previous history. I have grave concerns about his practice after reading some other's concerns as well.

Requested 3 massages ONLY for neck whiplash. Wrote on intake paperwork, "adjustments VIA Massages only" I immediately picked up on the fact that Dr. Lewis talks patients into believing they need chiropractic visits. He adjusted my hips without telling me what he was doing then office staff tells me that took the place of a massage. Lied to me saying one leg was 1.5 in. shorter-totally not true and I told him so. Web confirms he has done this to others! I am pursuing him civilly & for fraud.

There is no option to give no stars, which is what I would recommend. Did not listen to symptoms, had not read a note in the chart from a specialist and disregarded reason for current medication. Failed to followup with required paperwork even though I had reminded him.
