I had very serious neck and spine injuries. Amazing that I even walked into his office the first time. He not only rebuilt my whole neck but ended up using 2 donars. I then had a disectomy on l3-4 and then finally a fusion with a cage. I would recommend him to anyone with a very serious injury.

I have had 5 surgeries by Dr. MacMillan. 3 were for a broken leg, and 2 were for spine issues. In EVERY CASE, Dr. MacMillan and his entire staff have been helpful, caring, understanding, etc. Wait time in waiting room and examination room is longer than i would desire, however, Dr. MacMillan has always spent as much time with me as I needed. He has been patient with my many questions...which I submit printed out. His staff has been able to "fit me in" when something seemed urgent.

Dr MacMillan is very rude, talks down to you and is a control freak. Is very free with the pain medications. Pushes for you to have surgery. My last visit he started babbling about princes' death, and how he was being audited. Also if i was not going to take my pain medication as he prescribed (which by the way would have me so doped up i could not function) that he would not see me unless i wanted surgery. STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUY

Dr. MacMillan has given me active life style when I was close to not having any life style. On emergency basis, when he was in hospital with his daughter VISITING with her friend, Dr Mac (who not have even been on call) examined me in ER & operated on a severely mangled leg the very next morning. He has done 2 back fusions. In EVERY case, his practice of medicine is outstanding. When an urgent need, he has seen me immediately. Yes, office wait times can extend when others have an emergency.

it took the doctor 45 minutes to see me. Once I was seen the doctor asked me my injuries which where 9 fractured bones in my back, with more fractures up and down my spine, 3 broken ribs, broken collar bone. He then tells me to take the brace off the previous doctor told me to not take off for 10 weeks and it had only been 2. After Xrays the doc says oh I only see 1 collar bone break and without an MRI tells me to start taking the brace off. I asked about the MRI and he said he didn't hve MRI...
