Dr. Jeffrey Sandler, MD

Managed my condition very well, thank you Dr. Sandler!

Dr. Sandler is a nice man and does a good job of explaining what he sees and what he feels is the best course of action. I have perfect hearing, but problems with pressure which makes it seem like I’m hearing under water, there’s a whooshing sound constantly in my ears, and it’s hard to hear clearly in a crowded room. He felt that putting tubes in both ears would solve the issue. I went back several times to ask why the problem had gotten worse and not better. I was told to wait. It’s been a year, and the problems persist. His receptionist might be overworked, I’m not sure, but she is not kind or helpful. I’m now having to find another doctor that might have a suggestion. On a side note, nobody from their office ever called to see if the tubes had started working or if the problem had been fixed. Very frustrated.

Dr. Sandler seems to be a good ENT doctor and surgeon, but if you need to contact the office by phone forget it. They either don't answer the phone, they put you on hold until you get disconnected, and they do NOT ever call you back when you've left a message asking to call back.

I have been seeing Dr. Sandler for about a year now and am considering surgery. I've also taken my elderly father to Dr. Sandler. He spends a lot of time listening. He takes a conservative approach and doesn't rush you into the really aggressive solutions but tries the more conservative measures first. He does talk rather fast and has an accent but doesn't mind repeating things. He is also willing to spend a lot of time with you. I highly recommend Dr. Sandler.

Very good and willing to listen. Takes the time to get the facts and if he doesn't know something, he will admit it and research it. Not arrogant or brash. Good bedside manner.
