Possibly burnt out or just generally not a helpful Dr. Not a fan of Drs that say "you don't look like ..." as diagnostic criteria.

Highly recommended
In contrast to the previous reviewer I found Dr. Sparks caring, empathetic and knowledgeable; and the treatment he provided was spot on. I wouldn't say he appeared bored; a better description would be quiet and mild mannered. His practice is, after all, rheumatology . . . no reason to be in a hurry. I highly recommend this physician and the care he provides at Brigham and Women's.

Warning: Do not see this provider. He does not care about his patients well being and often seems bored. His lack of empathy and knowledge of his patients health conditions is concerning. Sad excuse for an MD.
