Thorough and Caring
While hospitalized, I was under the care of Dr. Thurlow. He was very approachable answering all my questions and taking the time to explain everything associated with my illness. While I ended up not needing surgery, as Dr. Thurlow took a conservative approach with my treatment, he stayed on my case and saw me after my release from the hospital. Cant recommend him enough!!

I had two hospital visits and one surgery (appendectomy and removal of adhesions) and in both cases I was in Dr. Thurlow's care - most recent was 2015. Dr. Thurlow was as caring a doctor as I've ever met and, on my 2nd visit, recommended AGAINST surgery and over time, my condition improved on it's own. His bedside manner put me and my wife at ease and I knew he was genuine in putting my best interests first and providing a very high level of care.

I would highly recommend Dr. Thurlow. His approachable demeanor put me at ease the moment he walked in and introduced himself. He took his time explaining what the surgery would entail (mine was very simple). He's compassionate and professional. Every part of the healing process has gone exactly the way he said it would. I am happy he was recommended to me.

Dr. Thurlow is kind, caring and thorough. He listens to a patient's concerns and answers questions in language that one can easily understand. In my case, it was for an emergency bowel resection.

He is by far one of the most compassionate and wonderful people on the planet. This is not my first time with Jeffrey Thurlow as my doctor, and I am still overwhelmed to the lengths this wonderful surgeon will go to help his patients. I am truly blessed that I can have my procedures done and not have to worry about anything. Straight-forward and honest and he speaks to you, not at you. His office staff are super as well and help you get on your feet as quickly as possible. Love them all!

Dr Thurlow is an Intensivist as well as a general surgeon, which was very important for me. He has always been accessible when needed, even giving me his cell number. He helped me through a nasty illness and then surgery. Even when I was very sick, I never wished I had a different doc leading the team.
