Dr. Jeffry Menzner, MD

Dr Menzner saved my leg. In 1999 he removed PVNS tumors that had eaten bone and thigh muscle. Then in 2015 he did a total knee replacement. Most amazing Dr and staff.

Excellent care before, during and after total knee replacement. Had both done within a 5 month period. Feel great. Thank you.

Dr Menzer and his team are amazing! I had a total knee replacement which was very successful. I had to reschedule my surgery twice due to other health issues and this was done with no problem. My phone calls were returned quickly and all questions were answered. No waiting at the appointments. Would highly recommend Dr Menzer and his team.

I met Dr. Menzner two years ago after I slipped on ice and broke the femur in my right leg. I have had three other knee replacements on this leg so he recommended riding the bike and simple exercises and I got through it.In July 2023, I was in a lot of pain. (My first knee replacement was 2000, next 2009 and 2013). Different surgeon. Dr Menzner took x-rays and realized that the screws had worked loose and were dragging on the metal and bone. He recommended another surgery. I could just not wrap my head around four surgeries on one leg however, update after October 16, 2023… I did in fact have another surgery done by Dr. Menzner this time. I feel qualified to speak about this since I have had so many of these types of surgeries…this recovery has from beginning to end, has been nothing like the others. Very little pain and great motion! I have had knee and leg pain solid since 2002. Thank you, Dr Jeff Menzer. You have changed my life!I highly recommend this surgeon & his staff!!

I was given easy to understand instructions, appointments were available, and my questions were always answered either in person or quickly on My Chart. Twice I had to reschedule my first knee replacement surgery due to a broken foot and then a health problem with my husband. Both times I was given reasonable options and never had a problem rescheduling. My two knee replacements were completed within a few months of each other. They both were successful, I never had any complications, and did not need PT when I followed Dr. Menzner's followup instructions. Dr. Menzner and his PA Brad are easy to visit with and have a wonderful professional team to help me through the process. I would definitely recommend Dr. Menzner for any orthopedic surgeries.

This was my second right hip replacement. Dr. Menzner was wonderful and made the replacement process very easy and relatively painless. I would recommend him to anyone in need of a hip replacement.

I had an amazing experience with St Lukes Medical Center total joint replacement program In Boise Idaho. Dr. Jeffry Menzer was an experienced and wonderful surgeon, and the staff was always helpful and kind. They ensured I had a smooth prep, surgery, and follow-up. I am so glad I chose St Lukes Medical Center and would highly recommend to anyone. Boise people are blessed and lucky to have Dr. Jeffry Menzer and his staff to take care of total joint replacement, not everyone so lucky. My relative in California had a same surgery a day after my surgery and she went thru allots of pains. I can walk and drive a car after two weeks surgery and she still in allots of pain and using walker.

Doctor Menzner, Brian Henniger, nurses Cynthia and Jenny, and St Luke’s downtown pre-op were absolutely wonderful to deal with. It was the most well ran operation I have ever been involved in.

A couple of years ago, my wife had a terrible accident, and needed knee surgery. Dr. Menzner came highly recommended, and we felt he did an outstanding job. I needed a knee replacement, and again, our primary care doctor recommended Dr. Menzner. I was very apprehensive, until I met him and his staff. They anticipate all concerns and questions, and do an excellent job of answering them. The whole process went smoothly, and exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend Dr. Menzner!!!

My experience with Dr. Menzner and his entire staff has been nothing short of wonderful. The staff professionalism and follow up on questions and concerns has been remarkable and Dr. Menzer's surgical abilities has shown through in the recovery from two knee surgeries, one in December and one in January, which has greatly exceeded my expectations! I would highly recommend him to anyone!

Dr Menzner replaced both of my knees in 2020. I now have no pain, am hiking, mountain biking and skiing, all with no pain. Dr Menzner and his staff treated me professionally and with respect, and I would give him the highest recommendation.

Dr. Mender has been condescending and dismissive and because of this, he has failed to provide quality care for my mother. He has not listened to my mother or her caregiver when they described concerns about her post-op condition and because of that she is now in the ER. At a time that is scary for families anyway, he has made my family feel even more helpless with his nonchalant way of ignoring their concerns and patronizing them, and his arrogance has put my mother in more danger. I do not trust him to be providing her care.

Another Dr. in his office strongly recommended I needed knee replacement but that he wasn’t available soon enough. He sent me to Dr. Menzner who totally suggested that I was exaggerating my pain and stated that I take a aspirin, or ride a excercise bike, or rub some over the counter crepe on my knee! I have had 4 major knee reconstructions years ago...there are no ligaments, or tendons left in my knee. Current X-rays showed bone on bone, with bone loss and severe arthritis, and a broken knee cap that improperly fused, and signs of previous screws that had broken apart and shredded my joint to bits.....and this Bozo thinks I am faking the pain! ??.

If you have questions, do not see this , “clinical care team”. Rude, unprofessional and not willing to answer concerns. Arrogant and condescending. Does not listen and has indifferent attitude. If I could give 0 starts, I would.

I had a left total knee replacement surgery by Dr. Menzner on 2/14/2020. I was nervous about him because I had read a few negative reviews online, but I found Dr. Menzner to be wonderful both clinically and with his bedside manner. I was treated well in all my pre- operative appointment and he and his staff were attentive and listened to my concerns and were able to help me feel less anxious. My surgery went very well. I stayed one night in the hospital and came home the following day. I followed all Dr. Menzner’s recommendations regarding using the recumbent bike faithfully and found that my knee gained mobility with little pain and in much less time compared to my recovery from the right total knee replacement I’d had in Utah in 2017. Because of COVID I was unable to have physical therapy other than a few weeks at home, but I kept following his directions and continued to have success. The knee Dr. Menzer replaced has done better than the knee replaced by the Utah surgeon.

I recently had a hip replacement by Dr. Menzner. He and his team were amazing, very professional, great communication, good followup, timely response to my calls, e mails. Updated information and reorganization due to the COVID issue. I highly recommend Dr. Menzner and team!

My experience with Dr. Menzner was fantastic. I had a total right knee replacement on 1/6/20. I woke up in the recovery room with no pain. I was doing straight leg raises (with both legs) in the gurney in the recovery room, sipping coffee and chatting with my nurse at St.Luke’s Boise. I was able to Skype into a meeting 4 hours after my operation. The entire recovery process has been wonderful; very little pain. Range of motion is normal with the new knee. Both Dr. Menzner and his office staff are professional and caring. As a surgeon, I know what it takes to deliver this kind of patient outcome. Jeff Menzner is clearly “5 STAR” in my book. Robert l. Dr. Menzner and his staff are top notch. I gladly recommend them and do so often. His advice and support in the years prior to my knee replacement helped me nurse my knee along until I could financially swing the replacement. My replacement surgery and recovery went well, with great communication and support. I have full use of my knee, no pain and very little scarring. I hike, bike and never have to hesitate about considering any physical activity. I appreciate his concerns and professional approach to long term joint well being.

I would recommend Dr Menzer and his staff to anyone who needs a joint replacement. He has done one hip and two knees with me and my last knee replacement on January 8 was amazing with hardly little pain. At six weeks I started back at CrossFit and have full mobility.
