Dr. Jennifer Glueck, MD

First visit, doctor asks questions and takes blood samples and you pay out of pocket almost $500. Beware of all doctors whose “treatment”Is not covered by insurance. Basic blood tests were emailed to me and then I didn’t hear back until end of March when I was told I owed almost $400 because the $500 was just to make the appointment. I guess the questions asked me and the blood test were the rest of the cost? I didn’t receive any “treatment” just medical bills which I paid in full but then realized I was scammed. Don’t be fooled by the highland park location- scam artists can live anywhere. It’s hard to believe any of the positive ratings are from legitimate paying patients and not friends and family trying to help the doctor make some money. I just gave away $900 to this doctor for no treatment or even discussion of my blood test results.

Dr. Glueck listens and is very through in her exams and lab work. She was able to immediately help and treat my severe menopausal symptoms. I highly recommend Dr. Glueck. I am grateful for her expertise.

Dr Glueck is an amazing doctor and I am really blessed and grateful that I was referred to her. I went through with my infertility treatment due to PCOS and she was very patient and explained all the possible options. The good thing about procedure which she follows is not to put you in higher dose to hurry everything which can cause your health problems but she took a step and understand you body and suggest a right procedure for you. We have to pay an extra cost but it's all worth it because she accommodate with your work schedule and answer immediately to all your questions with messages.

Dr Glueck successfully helped me conceive. I was referred to her from an endocrinologist for infertility due to PCOS. She was very thorough in discussing PCOS and options for treatment. I felt concierge service was worth the extra cost as she was reliably available via text for questions or concerns. She had flexible office appointments to help me miss minimal work hours. Especially if you are close to Highland Park this is a huge benefit. I found Dr Glueck to be kind and to the point. It was clear that she shared my goal of trying to conceive as quickly as healthily possible. The increased amount of cycle monitoring Dr Glueck does to prevent overstimulation and missed cycles is wonderful, and well worth the extra office visits.

Dr Glueck has been amazing in not just my journey with endocrinology but fertility as well. She has always been there to help manage my levels of thyroid, but most recently helped with my infertility. I had been seeking other fertility treatment, but with Covid and four recent failed attempts at a transfer I was really looking for another opinion. Dr Glueck was confident she could help me, and suggested doing an IUI while I had a break in my treatments. She was patient, and had other ideas to suggest. She made my husband and I feel comfortable and positive throughout the experience. Having her as a concierge doctor has been wonderful because she is always available and responds right away. Making me feel important and she had my best interest at all times. We did the IUI and low and behold positive results have come from it! She was right in her treatment and closely monitored the whole process. This whole process has been stressful and she made it so easy!

Dr. Glueck is the best doctor I have ever been to. She took the time to talk with me about all of my symptoms and we spent a whole hour. I usually get ten minutes with a doctor who is already half way out the door six minutes in. She listened and took all of my symptoms seriously instead of saying that it is nothing to worry about. She clearly explained every step of the process of fixing me. She is the kindest doctor I have seen and so professional. You will not be seen by a better doctor. I have already referred her to my mother and friends.

I finally decided to switch doctors. She was OK during some difficult times but is generally very dismissive & makes one feel like only she knows & understands anything. She doesn’t listen, rushes, & cuts you off when you talk. She doesn't explain things & gets irritated if you investigate something rather than ask her. One time, she was annoyed I was late & made me wait an additional hour instead of canceling then rushed me in/out quickly & gave me some Synthroid she had on hand in the wrong dose. When I messaged her that I would be leaving & to send records to my new doctor, she didn't ask me. She is concerned mainly about her lucrative reproductive endocrinology patients. Finally, & most importantly, she is slow on responses & doesn't fill Rx's despite multiple reminders from myself & the CVS mail order system. If you want just a basic doctor who will give you your medicine & send you on your way, she is fine. I didn't learn anything new nor was I overly impressed with her.

I can’t imagine these negative reviews are about Dr. Glueck. She is the kindest and most attentive doctor I’ve ever had of any specialty. She has diagnosed me with a simple disorder three previous endocrinologists failed to identify. She even sends text messages through the northwestern software (if that’s the easiest way to get a hold of you). A cold, inattentive doctor wouldn’t have multiple phone and video calls, and text messages in to their patient at no charge. These five star reviews far outweigh any negative ones listed here or elsewhere.

By far, the BEST endocrinologist out there! Super caring and compassionate! She is determined to get to the bottom of whatever your issues are. She doesn’t cover the problem with medication. She digs deep to find the cause of the problem! I’ve referred quite a few friends to her and they’re forever grateful.

Dr Glueck is an excellent physician, extremely thorough and her bedside manner is outstanding. She made me feel like her only patient and she was so good at explaining things to me and my husband. She went above and beyond and I felt I was I the best care. Just so grateful for all she does and the experience.

Sharp, to the point, thorough, comprehensive. Great experience so far. Supportive staff is also efficient and excellent.

I was referred to Dr. Glueck for infertility. She was incredible from the first appt & very thorough. We did our first IUI with her a couple months ago and got pregnant! This is after about 20 months of trying on our own and seeing other reproductive endocrinologists. Once we got a positive pregnancy test result, she got me in for hcg lab work & stayed in touch with me over the next few weeks, evening ordering a 7 week u/s when my OB wouldn't. She is truly a fantastic dr & person - we love her!

Dr. Glueck made me feel at ease from the very first appointment! I came in with fertility issues with the hopes of eventually getting pregnant. We went through the process of IUI and were successful! We are having our first child later this year! Dr. Glueck was incredibly persistent and invested in helping us conceive! She has felt like a family member now to us and we will forever be grateful for the gift she has given us!

Dr. Glueck has a very cold disposition, she’s not very friendly at all. Was left sitting in examination room 40minutes while she stood in another doorway talking to her colleagues about her lunch menu. When she entered the room she gave no apology and had a general disinterest in the reason I was there. I’ve seen her a couple times since and there has been no change. I will not be seeing her again. She’s horrible!

Dr. Glueck has been managing my PCOS since Fall 2016. I felt comfortable and confident with Dr. Glueck from the moment I met her and appreciated that she was readily available to answer questions both in person and via her patient portal. After two miscarriages in a six month period, Dr. Glueck was able to help my husband and I conceive. She was wonderful and caring throughout the entire process. I would recommend Dr. Glueck to anyone in a heart beat. She truly cares!

Dr Glueck takes the time to listen. She is very bright and thoughtful in her explanations. I would recommend her to anyone with an endocrine issue.

Dr. Glueck is the most competent specialist I've ever worked with. During each appointment, she answered all my questions and carefully explained each step of the fertility process. She took her time and meticulously measured levels in the blood to be sure the process was progressing safely. Dr. Glueck also makes herself available for questions & updates outside office hours. I drove two hours for each appointment, and it was well worth it! My husband and I have one child and another on the way!

I brought my teenage daughter to see Dr Glueck after her pediatrician suspected she had PCOS. Dr Glueck was very thorough in verifying the diagnosis and is extremely knowledgeable on the subject and treatment of PCOS. She gave us very helpful information and was able to treat her symptoms. She is very bright and very thorough

Started off very attentive and kind (like most doctors who start a practice). With time, it became very obvious she didn't care at all about my thyroid condition regardless of all the symptoms I was having, told me there was nothing wrong with me, and said I needed to go somewhere else and that it wasn't her problem. Basically, because I wasn't there for fertility issues, she pushed me out the door. She seems great for fertility issues, but if you're going for thyroid problems, look elsewhere.

Doesn't really do thyroid or metabolism. She is only interested if you are looking to have a baby. Very abrupt and misrepresents herself on the web. Very disappointed!
