Did not like Dr Larson. I saw her three days ago, I told her and her office staff, it was a 2nd opinion regarding cataract surgery and her opinion on how fast it needed to be done. She has yet to write one thing about my cataract in my chart. She did however tell me I must have a retina nerve image taken that day. The technician said the result would be ready that afternoon. Despite me messaging her and asking what the results were, she has NOT given me the results of that test. Her ability to document my visit and the results of a test which she said was urgent, are non existent. Not happy

Has no idea what she's doing
I recently had the unfortunate experience of visiting Dr. Larson, an optometrist, and I must express my deep disappointment and frustration with the level of care I received. Dr. Larson's incompetence during my eye examination and her failure to diagnose me with dermatitis left me feeling disheartened and ignored.First and foremost, Dr. Larson's lack of thoroughness during my eye exam was evident from the moment she walked in. She seemed rushed and disinterested, barely taking the time to listen to my concerns or ask pertinent questions about my symptoms. It was clear that she had little regard for providing a comprehensive evaluation. As a patient, I expect medical professionals to be diligent, attentive, and thorough in their examinations. Unfortunately, Dr. Larson fell drastically short in meeting these expectations. Her rushed and inadequate eye examination, combined with the misdiagnosis of my dermatitis, has left me deeply disappointed.

Excellent experience with Dr. Larson
I hesitated at first to use Dr. Larson based on other reviews here, but I am so glad I trusted the recommendation of my optometrist! Dr. Larson is very personable, thorough, and skilled. She did a great job explaining procedures to me and both my glaucoma and cataract surgeries were painless and successful. I was comfortable asking questions, and she willingly answered all of them. She treated my concerns with care and respect, and I was very pleased with the outcome of my surgical treatments.

Excellent cataract surgeon!
My vision was so bad that it was hard to get my prescription glasses made. Dr Larson did cataract surgery on both of my eyes and inserted a lens. She did a tremendous job. I am SO grateful for my "new" eyes!! Yes she is a bit hurried during the visits but she gives you all the info you need and the surgery was impeccable. I had no pain or discomfort and could see perfectly the next day after each surgery!

A year ago Dr. Larson gave my left eye cataract surgery and lens implant. Later she did the same surgery on my right eye. She explained clearly what the results would be, and she was exactly right. I was very pleased both with her friendly and professional care and that of her team and am very grateful for my present vision.

I have a disease that if it gets in your eyes it can cause blindness. I was there for a yearly appointment to make sure it hasn't gone into my eyes. I have some blisters on my eye and was afraid it had gone into it. She wasn't sure what it was and said she is not well versed on this disease. Seriously? She gave me medicine for one possibility that I had to tell her what I thought it was. It wasn't her guess but mine. She was also in a hurry. I will not be going back to her. We are dealing with blindness and this disease can go in the eyes. But she isn't well versed in it????

Dr Larson is in way too much of a hurry. Look elsewhere for quality eye care.
