Dr Wilhelm is my personal physician. I have known her for greater than 20 years and am familiar with her care of other patients and my own family. I am a physician myself and I am very aware of what excellence entails. Dr Wilhelm is a superior physician. She is bright, well trained, knows her medicine well and has impeccable bedside manner. She listens with compassion. She has solid medical competence and spends enough time with patients to deliver superb medical care.

She appeared attentive and thorough at initial visit, but her medical assistant is sorely lacking. How do you overmeasure someone's height by 1 3/4 inches or fail to apply a BP cuff properly? Had to call office to convey info for medication adjustment she advised and her staff again appeared confused with prescription dosages she had suggested. Subsequently completely dismissed/ignored a request for 2 simple studies to address a progressively severe back pain issue to rule out a kidney stone despite a known history of two prior kidney stones. Office response was that "she just wants you to do physical therapy". Had to seek out urologist to get studies which CONFIRMED kidney stone which required surgery to address and to alleviate the pain. If she did not believe studies were indicated or did not want to pursue them, a simple "She suggests you go back to your urologist if you think you might have another stone" would have been an appropriate. Go elsewhere if you want to be listened to.

Everything went well, as it always does. From the staff to Dr. Wilhelm, I am always made to feel that I matter. All my concerns are addressed and discussed (she listens!), and nothing unnecessary is done or recommended. This is excellent care.

Dr. Wilhelm is generally on time, friendly, engaging, smart, analytical, very knowledgeable and explains what she is thinking. She will also go the extra mile for a patient who needs special attention. She is the best general practitioner I have ever had, and I am nearly 78 years old. Danny, her assistant is also good.

Dr Wilhelm really listens. She always shows compassion and concern. She doesn’t push unnecessary testing nor prescribe unneeded medication but asks questions to find out what is the underlying problem.

I have been a patient of Dr. Wilhelm's for nearly 15 years. She is highly competent and very personable, It is hard to get on as a patient with her because she is in great demand, and has to limit the times during the year when she can accept new patients. (Somebody has to die or move!) I have found her to be open to my concerns and suggestions, always intent on staying up with new advances in medicine (and Medicare) that have to do with my conditions. She is worth the wait.

Will not recommend! As a new patient. She is abrupt and does not communicate well. I waited almost 30 minutes before she came to exam room at PR south building. She treated me somewhat rude and seemed to make my conversation/explanations trivial. Rushed through exam and was gone. I was left with a medical assistant basically. I will not repeat a visit to this doctor or Park Ridge office. I will say the front desk personnel were professional and gracious. Doctor needs to work on bed side!

Dr. Wilhelm has been my primary care physician for over ten years. I have always found her to be very attentive, thorough, and caring. Plus, she has a great sense of humor which goes a long way in establishing a good physician-patient relationship.

Dr. Wilhelm has been my physician for almost 12 years. I have no complaints at all. She is always attentive, listening carefully to my health (physical and mental) concerns. I have never had a doctor whom I have felt so comfortable with. She is always professional, with very compassionate side.

I was a patient of Dr. Wilhelms and I made an appointment with her and I called the office in Hendersonville and they transferred me and did not tell me she had moved to an Arden location they simply transferred me. So I went to the wrong location and the office called and rescheduled for me. The next morning my fiance's truck messed up and he had to take my car to work. When I called to reschedule they told me Bc I had two no shows I couldn't be a patient anymore when I wasn't a no show at all.

I would like to have had a chance to give a review on this doctor but apparently she does not care about taking on new patients. Been trying for over two months to schedule an appointment. This is truly uncalled for.
