Awful
I’m a highly educated 31-year-old woman who has worked in pharmaceutical research and drug development for the past decade. Dr. Hirsch failed to answer my questions about the mechanism of action of the drugs he prescribed on numerous occasions because the answers were “too complicated” for me to understand. I continued to rephrase my questions, hoping I was at fault for not properly conveying my desire for him to explain the effects of the drugs on the pathophysiology of my disease, but he continued to provide offensively simplified answers even when I tried to continue the conversation through text via MyChart. If you are above the age of 8-years-old and have more than a high school degree, do not see this doctor. Best of luck to anyone struggling for answers about their medical condition.
