Dr. John Bertrand, MD

Visiting with my daughter that is expecting her first baby in March. Dr. Bertrand made her feel so much at ease , she did not particularly want a male OB but quickly changed her mind. He has great vibes!

Delivered our boy. Monitored the whole pregnancy, great bedside manner, friendly, and knowledgeable. Fast to respond, husband and I wish he was a pediatrician as well! Couldn’t recommend anyone more than Dr.Bertrand. Thank you!! We will be back :)

Dr. Bertrand was my third consult for prolapse issues. I wish I’d seen him first! He listened to my concerns and came up with a treatment plan that addressed my most distressing symptom and completely respected my request for native tissue repair and to avoid hysterectomy at 42. Even though I wasn’t sure if I’d be scheduling surgery with him (I am), I left his office knowing I’d found a wonderful fit for for yearly well woman exams and other female issues I may experience.

Best doctor I have ever been to! He is compassionate and understanding and is very proactive.

Dr. Bertrand is the most amazing doctor I've ever been to. He gave me my quality of life back. If you're having issues with fibroids, please go see him. I had a very difficult and scary case and I truly believe he saved my life and gave me hope for the future. In addition to being the absolute best and most skilled, he is incredibly kind and thoughtful. He made me feel completely at ease during a very difficult and scary time. His entire staff is so sweet and so patient. His nurse Lora is incredibly attentive as well as kind and his surgery coordinator Katie went above and beyond for me and always kept me informed and encouraged. If you're looking for an OBGYN I highly highly recommend Dr. Bertrand and his entire staff.

Do not relate at all with the negative reviews. I never waited for more than 5 minutes to be seen. Dr. Bertrand is very calm and has great bedside manners, never EVER was he unprofessional. His nurses, specially Lora are very kind and helpful as well. They are very organized with scheduling and the office runs smoothly. I love this office and am so glad I choose them. Highly recommend.

I am very Thankful to Dr. J. D. Brertrand M.D. as I will be 45 this September, I would not be here if not for him. He treated me when no one else would when I was a teenager and I had a placental abruption, was rushed to Presbyterian Hospital. I have 2 grown boys, 2 grandchildren, a wonderful husband of 17yrs this April, a beautiful step daughter with 2 more grandchildren and I would not have anything if it were not for him that night. He saved my life and I am very Thankful to him and his crew.

Dr Bertrand is a wonderful and knowledgable doctor. I found Dr Bertrand at a particularly difficult time in my life- I was having some very complicated medical problems and Dr Bertrand spent time with me and was able diagnose my medical situation. His bedside manner is so down-to-earth and he took the time to talk me through my situation and what my next steps were. Five years later, things are much better and Dr Bertrand still takes time and makes sure all is well. His staff is very friendly.

Unprofessional in my opinion. When I was getting an IUD after giving birth he had joked around and told me I would be pregnant in a year again then laughed with the medical assistant. Wait time is too long and the scheduling staff are rude if you decide to reschedule. He was an okay doctor but not worth going to after the rude comment he made.

He listens, really listens and addresses concerns with compassion. His staff are the same. He takes time to answer questions. And he really, really knows what he's doing. The level of care is at perfection level when it is near impossible to find that in today's healthcare climate. He's a really nice guy and he's genuinely interested in his patients and their wellbeing.

He's great. But not worth waiting an hour each visit.
