Dr. John Edelglass, MD

didn't help resolve issue after multiple visits; refused request of a call to discuss...

I've been seeing Dr. Edgelgass for close to 15 years. He is always so kind, thorough, and practical. He is on faculty at Yale and is current in his knowledge. Most recently, he referred me to a plastic surgeon to have a spot removed from my face. I respect that Dr. Edelglass appreciates his limits and is willing to refer out to make sure his patients get the best possible outcome. He also works with a local compounding pharmacy to offer pharmacy-grade skin care products at very reasonable prices (less than you would pay for inferior products at Sephora or Ulta). He never pushes these products on you and is very judicious about offering them.

Terrible experience with their scheduling and billing. I was going to be 10 minutes late and called to let them know. The girl suggested I just reschedule. So I did. I received a cancellation fee invoice within a few days. Does Dr Edelglass even know what his staff is doing? Does he even care? Someone is ruining his practice. And if they cant get the little stuff right, I am sure his lassifare attitude is translating to his effectiveness as a diagnostician. Not only will I not pay the fee, I am considering reporting him to the CT medical board for their business practices. I DO NOT recommend this guy to anyone.

if I were asked to write a composite picture of a competent, skilled and knowledgeable doctor, it would be Dr. Edelglass. He treated my skin condition with care and cleared the affected area virtually back to the way it looked many years ago.

Dr Edelgass,I am disappointed with your office personal. On Thursday I had a appointment with you that didn’t happen. I live I Clinton and it took also 2 hr to make my appointment,when I arrived the receptionist told I need a referral and cancel my appointment. Pryer To that I had four phone call from your office reminding me of my appointment. Do you think they would have told me that I needed a referral. Alexander Volpe

Was given multipul prescriptions they forgot to send over one took 3 calls to be told I don't need that one anyway. Over the phone instructions for how to use and frequency changed from in the office. Very little confidence in this practice. Doctor continued to speak over me when I was asking a question, responding "yea" before continuing what he was saying. Unprofessional dose not adequately describe the communication between doctor and patent, time will tell if meds will work

Dr Edelglass is my go-to for any skin issues..My husband and stepson are also clients. I highly recommend him.
