Dr Garber has been my GI for 8 1/2 years and was actually the one to diagnose me with Crohn’s disease. He is caring, helpful, knowledgeable and has a wonderful bedside manner which is hard to find these days. Sadly he is leaving MGH so I will need to find a new doctor and I am dreading it.

I am sorry to say that I found Dr. Garber not friendly and pushy in recommending some tests. In addition, in his arguments he was rather scaring using some facts that I later found not to be correct. It does not match my idea of what a doctor should be. Patients are humans, not just subjects for curing. I dropped this doctor, and very happy with another one. I cannot recommend Dr. Garber.
