This Dr is EXTREMELY, unnecessarily rough! I was in tears b4 leaving his office and that was BEFORE having a bursa injection! (hip) I was supposed to go back but refuse to be treated like this! I spoke to another person from this clinic, they told me that they had heard the same thing. He is proud & arrogant! The injection worked as it should, but he is certainly able to find the injection site without having to cause excruciating pain like that, I’ve had these injections before so I know this

Dr Nichols and the ladies that work with him and a very caring and knowledgeable group. I was having a very difficult time walking, the pain was a 10 every time I took a step and he was able to give the injection into the exact spot to stop the pain. I have gone to him several years and have just learned the group at tier one had decided they don't want him anymore. How sad that someone that does so much good is not going to be available to treat us that need it so desperately. Shame on them

Very knowledgeable, direct and helpful. I have several back and joint issues which he treats with great expertise. I don't care about any "small talk" etc. that other people might expect. I care that a doctor concentrates on what needs to be done and does it exceptionally well.

Very sad to hear that Dr Nichols will be leaving Tier 1, I will have to leave Tier 1 also. It is very difficult to find a doctor you can trust and work well with. I am very disappointed in Tier 1 for letting him leave.

There are a lot of fake bad reviews on this website which is what happens when you don't have to leave a name that will identify you as a real patient . He provides excellent care for me and family

I too have felt the rush in Dr. Nichols, though this is not my first time needing low back care. While I understand he is a Physiatrist and limited on what he can do, I felt very little hope in treating my Degenerative Disc. The pain has increased, the steroids did not help and I am now going to go the route of a Neurosurgeon. If you are expecting an overly sympathetic doctor, he is not the one. If you just want a real straight forward response, you'll get it.

First of all, he's not a neurologist even though he works at the main clinic in town with neuro surgeons, etc. Second, he seems pretty knowledgeable, however, he walked in the room and said, "there is nothing I can do for you. If you are searching for the magic fix than you've come to the wrong place." I thought it was very unprofessional. He didn't introduce himself, ask any questions, nothing. He went on to give some valid info but the way he comes across is just....strange.

Dr. NIchols seems to have forgotten any sort of patient empathy, sympathy, etc. Perhaps he missed the course in med school for bedside manner thought he is not a doctor who addresses such, being a hot shot ortho doctor. He s totally without manner, telling one and all, this is what it is, etc. No explanation, perhaps this it what one might do, etc. Just ninety miles an hour with talking, etc.. Never a WORD asking how one feels. etc. If you can avoid him, d0 so.

I have been seeing Dr. Nichols as a patient for the last 5 years for treatment of a spinal disorder. I had been to several doctors before that had been unable to diagnose or treat my problem. Dr. Nichols has a great deal of experience, and was able to identify and treat my problem. His treatments allowed me to enjoy a pain free, active lifestyle I will continue to need treatments to maintain this quality of life, but thankfully I know that Dr Nichols is capable of providing the care I need!!

Dr. Nichols was very impatient and uninterested. With his ego in the room, there was hardly any room for real discussion or help. Do not schedule an appointment if you actually want a doctor who cares about your health more than what he wants to do after work. Highly dissatisfied!
