Not Friendly or Personable
My appointment only lasted like five minutes because all he did was push on the painful spots and then tell me I need further treatment. I did not like him will see him through, but will never go back after this is cleared up. He is not personable he is not friendly, and I do not recommend.

Was glad doctor was honest about his capacities but didn't appreciate the attitude or lack of suggestions/assist with pain level. Doctor is extremely knowledgable

Recently had knee surgery with lipogems. Things could not have worked out better. I highly recommend Dr. O'Hearn. He uses some of the newest procedures that are cutting edge and are not invasive. If you need orthopedic care I highly recommend you see Dr. O'Hearn!!

Dr. O’Hearn repaired my torn bicep tendon and used Lipogems. I’m completely happy with the procedure and healing has been great! I work as a strength and conditioning coach and need to back to full strength. Dr. O’Hearn got me there! Thank you!

Dr. O'Hearn was great through the whole process of knee surgery and Lipogem injections. Very thorough from initial office visit through release of care one year later. Got me back to my active lifestyle quickly and without the constant pain suffered previously.

Dr. OHearn treated me 20 years ago for broken wrist and leg. Since then he has treated my brother, cousin, husband and son for various injuries (ruptured Achilles, ACL, knee & shoulder pain). Achilles and ACL surgery both played college lacrosse and were able to heal and get back to playing in record time and without loosing a step (one went to be captain of a championship team). Recently my son broke his ankle ice skating. Dr. O stayed late to fit us in and was very calming and gentle and spent extra time explaining things to my son who is now running around like nothing ever happened and now wants to “put people back together” like Dr. O! If (when) my kids have any other injuries we wouldn’t trust anyone else to care for them! He has treated my whole family (and friends I have) with great care and great outcomes. He clearly loves taking care of all ages of people and has wonderful knowledge and experience. Thank you Dr. OHearn!

I struggled with plantar fasciits in one foot and eventually both feet. I had seen my primary care doctor, a podiatrist and was getting physical therapy and nothing was working. I saw Dr O'Hearn and he suggested a procedure called PRP for my feet to see if that would accellerate healing and get the pain to go away. It was not instantaneous but the pain did go away and I can walk and run pain free now and do not have to wear the annoying braces at night anymore!

I went to Dr O'Hearn for the Lipogems procedure on both knees due to painful arthritis. I kept asking about recovery time and was led to believe that I would be able to leave after the procedure with o issues. First of all, the procedure was the most painful thing I've ever felt. Afterward, I had to slowly leave the facility using a walker. When I got home, I laid down on the couch to rest, but after a bit realized I couldn't stand up again. It took a lot of effort and help from my husband and walker to finally get back on my feet. I am overweight, but have always exercised at least 3x a week and have run several 5K events. Each time I went back to see him, he kept insisting that I needed to change my lifestyle and start exercising. When I objected, he kept insisting that I wasn't doing enough. The same thing happened on my next visit. Never looked at my knees at either of these appointments. One of my knees is better, but the other is not. I would not recommend.

I had knee surgery to repair a torn acl in July. Dr. O’Hearn explained a variety of treatment options and even discuss the pros and cons of each treatment plan. I chose to move forward with Lipogems and other procedures. I am happy to say that I was back to full strength at 5 months post op. I don’t know if I would have been able to have made this type of recover without Dr. O’hearn’s care and skill. This was my second major surgery under his care and both have produced tremendous results. I would highly recommend Dr. O’Hearn to anyone seeking to recover from pain or injury.

Knee was very painful to walk. Cortisone stopped working. Dr O'Hearn indicated a stem cell treatment would allow me to walk at daughter's wedding in 3 months. In more pain now than before treatment. Either stem cell therapy doesn't work or it was not done properly.

I went to Dr. Oh for knee surgery.I had a subchondroplasty. I am in more pain & mobility compromised than I was prior to surgery. I do ALL my exercises daily as I walked/ran 6-7 mi/day + 3 mi beachwalk in evenings. I completed rehab & do leg press & squats. He turns EVERY single complaint about my progress into a battle over exercising. He just can not or refuses to accept that he is wrong or something is wrong. He is the most arrogant man, no problem if he excelled in his practice, which he doesn't. He refuses to accept diagnose of situation from 3 other ortho doctors. He is also a snake oil salesman. I paid him 4K for Lipogems, followed all post op instructions to maximize the affects. It was a waste of money, time, painful &doesn't care about progression of of my disease. He said would hold off knee replace. 3 drs confirmed I need a replacement asap due to severe pain, swelling ,decrease mobility.Wrong placement of ca++phos. Need plastic surg to repair donor site of cells too.

Very unprofessional. While in the waiting area, a commercial that I was in started to play on the television. (This commercial is one I had filmed prior to me injuring my arm.) While Dr. O'Hearn was doing the exam I said 'oh lord jesus that hurts' to which this man responded with 'I am not jesus and it looks like you are in the right area of work because you are a drama queen and to stop faking. BUT he said I need an MRI done ASAP. Why would I need more testing done if I was faking the injury?

I was given two options for my knee, partial replacement or stem cell Therapy. Insurance does not cover this. I had therapy done and whenever I would ask when I would know if it took, all he would do was ask what my pain level was. I do not want replacement and am going to seek help elsewhere.

Dr. O'Hearn is a pleasure to deal with. He has a nice calm and quieting approach when speaking with you. He answers all questions in detail, and makes reasoned recommendations for the procedure best suited to you. He performed the Lipogem procedure on my knee. This is a relatively new surgery using the body's own stem cells to promote faster healing. I had other work but was in physical therapy just two days after surgery. He has a professional staff, no long wait times, and good follow up.

I injured my knee and required surgery. Dr. O'Hearn's staff gave me prompt appointment where I had X-rays taken and also got me an appointment for a MRI on the same day. The staff is friendly, yet professional. Dr. O'Hearn spent a long time explaining the results of the tests and my options. He performed the surgery at a surgery center in Bel Air which was great. Dr. O'Hearn has been in practice a long time, but it is obvious he keeps up on the latest innovations. I would highly recommend him.

The ONLY options that were given to me were two different surgeries for my knee. He did not ask if I had been doing any home type of care to help the issue. X-rays were taken in the office and he sent me for an MRI. He is arrogant and did not offer to do anything to help with my pain. I went for a second opinion. He asked questions, was very thorough at explaining everything to me, offered exercises I could do and advised me what not to do. He treated me without surgery!
