Dr. John Resser, MD

I would not give him one star if the rating would allow. This is first review I have done but feel compelled people need to be aware. He is eager to do surgery but will not follow up. I had to go to another doctor in Evansville IN to repair the surgery he did. He never would follow up and I had multiple complications. He could not even get the scope through the sinus opening he did the surgery on. He said I probably need another surgery, did another CT scan and said it didn't show anything, he couldn't help me. Absolute Incompetent Surgeon!!!

I’m not sure what happened to this office or their staff, but the change is not for the better. I was referred to Dr Resser for issues concerning my Thyroid. From the first visit I had my gut instinct said run! I do remember them telling me if I had any concerns please don’t hesitate to contact us. Well I did for a week straight! After multiple MyChart messages, and I had even contacted my GP. Finally a response! I should’ve looked here first, because I see now I’m not the only PT being treated like this. Don’t look for 1 ounce of compassion from this office. If you’re looking to be talked to like an incompetent person this is the right place for you! Good news is I’ll never be back. I’m sure that’s how they like it anyway. I do have a medical background and unbeknownst to them I was just another number in their book. I’ve just been wondering where they’ve received their credentials. Please folks if you’re having serious issues look elsewhere!

I will not be returning to Dr. Resser. His office staff was less than professional and seemed apathetic in a general sense. Dr. Resser continuously spoke over me and interjected several times. I did not feel heard nor did I feel like he cared; I felt like a number. I would not recommended going to him if you need solutions for your concerns. Waste of time as I waited for over an hour after my scheduled appointment time. Then he only spoke with me for about 10 minutes. Disappointed.

Have a serious allergy . Had to wait over a month for an appointment I Paducah March 5 app. Was canceled without my consent. Another was not available until Apr. 21. Left a message with Crystal which was never returned. Attempted to reach the Crystal who left the message for two days ( 8 calls, all unsuccessful). Am very disappointed and will seek another ENT. I needed surgery, but Dr. Resser sent me to Nashville for it because he felt they had done that type of surgery many more times than he had done it. I appreciated that he was honest about that and didn't take on a surgery that he wasn't comfortable doing. In the list I had to choose the lowest rating for total wait time (over 45 min.) However, he took a lot of time with me, and I assume he did with the patients before me, too. He was well worth waiting for!

I have known Dr. Resser for some time. I met him through work when he treated one of my Worker's Comp injured workers. My client required extensive surgical repairs as his injuries were significant. In 2016, the tables turned & I needed thyroid surgeries x2. I knew immediately who I wanted to do my surgeries because I knew his skill level & his precision & operative skills. Both my surgeries went very well. I was thrilled. Dr. Resser is an exceptional physician & surgeon. Love & respect him!!

Dr. Resser addressed all my questions well all things were portrayed as his having my best interest and wellbeing as his priority. Staff could not have been better. A very positive experience.
