While the medical care was acceptable, the office attempted to assess a$50.00 surcharge that is not covered by insurance to get a piece of paper with my prescription on it. This is unusual, unacceptable and unprofessional.

I would highly recommend him. I had 2 cataract surgeries and glaucoma treatment. No longer need specialty eyedrops . Use OTC instead. The only drawback is longer than expected waiting time for appointment.

Dr Yang was able to diagnose and treat a problem I had for years. Prior to seeing him I saw six other doctors who couldn’t figure out what was wrong. Personable and highly professional

Great doctor. Been a patient for years. Recently I've had a hard time with the office staff. Had to call approximately 20 times to get someone on the phone in the Northbrook office and even when I did finally get a person it call forwarded me to someone in the Chicago office. Had to call back to reschedule and the woman I spoke to was so nasty that I told her to cancel the appointment and I would find a new doctor.

Clear Respectful Really listened Took all the time needed to explain condition and care plan - including interpreting test results on the computer. i would recommend him to anyone - even if they already had an ophthalmologist
