Dr Weingart has operated on our daughter a few times, my husband at least 4, & myself once. He is absolutely the best. It’s is what he has patients from over the world that come to him.

Schwannoma at/above C1
I searched the entire country and think I chose the best surgeon. Friend manages a neurosurgery office in my hometown. Also talked to a neurosurgeon friend. Checked with other top neurosurgeons at the top-rated neurosurgery hospitals. Dr. Weingart exercised wisdom by removing the intra-spinal portion that was compressing my spinal cord and leaving the non-threatening benign tumor portion outside my spinal canal alone. He said it was a risk/benefit analysis. Two other surgeons I consulted apparently were not using the same approach and the risk of death or paralysis was significant. It's now been two years since my surgery, and I have no issues at all. Dr. Weingart said I have NO restrictions and can go about my life as though I never had the tumor. The only downside, and it is a minor one, is that I am supposed to have MRIs to monitor the portion of the tumor that lies outside my spinal canal to make sure it does not grow and ever cause an issue. He's also a nice person.

You are the best.
Dr. Weingart's surgery is admirable and exceptional. One year ago (May 5th, 2021), he saved my son and my family. Always I appreciate it.

I can not say enough good about this man. Had a schwannoma (brain tumor) removed by him and could not have asked for a smoother experience or nicer dr. Very caring and easy to talk to, extremely knowledgeable and professional. Going back in a couple months for another craniotomy and I'm actually looking forward to it. It's a 1200 mile round trip for me to get to him, but I wouldn't want anyone else inside my head and he is more than worth the trip.

Not good told two days after surgery that Dr Weingarten didn't like the way my neck is healing. 8 months I returned to hospital paralyzed both arms. Put in Miami j collar had MRI done for Dr review. Called way too many times no reply. 4 years of rehabilitation and still in intense pain with frequent loss of use of arms hands and fingers. Very frustrating. Rehabilitation director is the only one who has been involved with my recovery but not happy about the inability to do anything to help in improving the problem. Thanks Eric Savoy
