I had an intraocular lens implanted (PanOptix) and I could not be happier! No more glasses! They helped me to clearly understand my options. I mentioned to Dr. Franz that his practice it almost like a factory but wanted to make sure he was not offended. I meant that in the BEST WAY. They are organized and everyone has a clear role and they are all so kind and professional and make you feel very comfortable! Love this practice and would highly recommend them to anyone!

When it was finally time to have my cataracts removed, I chose Dr. Frantz, largely due to his nearby location (SW FL), extensive surgical experience and excellent patient reviews. The total experience required eight visits over two months plus two follow-ups. I must say, the effort was worth it! After wearing bi and tri-focals for over 30 years, I am now completely free of corrective eyeglasses! I did a lot of research online and spoke to several friends regarding their experience. There is a great deal to learn about IOLs and there are many choices available. Based on the way I answered my sight preferences survey, Dr. Frantz recommended the Alcon PanOptix IOL for both eyes. However, with further research, I learned that some patients were very happy with a "custom blend" of one PanOptix and one Vivity IOL. I broached this possibility with several members of the Frantz staff and they secured his agreement. Both surgeries went well and my "new eyes" give me 20/20 vision! Halleluiah!

From the moment you arrive at Frantz Eyecare you are treated like a special person. Everyone is friendly and welcoming and professional. Dr. Frantz did an amazing job! My vision is much improved! Thankfully, I can now find my golf ball! Through every aspect of the procedure from examination to postop to preop and the surgery itself, I was treated with the highest care in the industry. I had peace of mind through the whole process. I would highly recommend Dr. Frantz and his entire staff.

My experience with Jonathan Frantz and his staff was exceptional! They took the time to explain my options the steps of the procedure for getting cataracts removed as well as the multi focal lens inplant. Or what is recommended. I wasn't feeling rushed answered all my questions and made me feel comfortable about my decision. As well as a very thorough examination. Other than a timely way to get in to see them it is well worth the wait. I highly recommend!

Factor in the high level of professional performance of other physicians associated with this practice along with the amazing support staff, there is no doctor in the same field of practice that cones close to Dr. Frantz in terms of providing the very best medical services.

I was very impressed with the longevity of his staff members. Lessie has been with him for 20 years after he corrected her eyesight. She described him as very thorough and a perfectionist. I did not feel rushed to have the surgery immediately as I did at 2 other surgeons I had visited. Dr. Frantz was open to different lens options, trying to match my needs. Each staff person I met was knowledgeable and able to answer all of my questions. Their new facility is phenomenal. Dr. Frantz is obviously investing in making it state-of-the-art.
