A Very Through and Concerned doctor!
Quite simply put. Dr. Winkler is an excellent cardiologist. He is courteous, concerned, thorough, pleasant and much more. I would trust him with my life, which being a cardiologist I do trust him with my life.

First visit

Although we had never met prior to my appointment, I felt that Dr. Winkler really came across as being clear and concise in his preferred future treatment plans for me and my medical history... I WAS SUPER IMPRESSED!!!!!!!

Glad to have Dr. Winkler as my cardiologist.
I am so pleased with Dr. Winkler and the care that he gives me and my husband. He takes time to explain things and I find him to be caring and compassionate. He is also very diligent about calling and talking with me when necessary rather than just communicating thru the portal or his assistant. His assistants and the office staff are also pleasant and interactions with them are always positive.

Accumulation of three yearly interactions with Dr.
From my humble PERSPECTIVE Dr. Winkler could perhaps benefit from a course in CULTURAL SENSITIVITY TRAINING. The medical assistant was proficient in doing her job. In all due respect I will not voice my concerns on a public forum due to not wanting to disparage Dr. Winkler. Also, a refresher course on human dignity and respect would be beneficial and recommended for Dr. Winkler.

Dr. Winkler
First visit with Dr. Winkler after my previous cardiologist of the last 11 years retired. My primary care doc recommended Dr. Winkler. This first visit went very well and the time with Dr. Winkler as well spent. Good conversation, no rush to get through the appointment, and comfortable with his expertise. Nice guy.

Doctor Winkler and his Staff
Doctor Winkler and his staff are excellent. I would recommend them to anyone.I feel very good with Doctor Winkler treating me. He is very easy to communicate with, and he is so up on the latest treatments and medicines.

Excellent Cardiologist
Visit began exactly at appointment time. His staff was courteous and efficient. Dr. Winkler listened carefully to my health concerns. He reviewed my history very carefully. His exam and recommendations reflected superb medical knowledge even beyond Cardiology. As a retired physician myself I would highly recommend his care.

A most-satisfied patient
I've been a satisfied patient of Starling (originally Grove Hill) for over 24 years and transferred to Dr. Winkler a couple years ago. He's an excellent, caring and thorough physician - one of the best I've ever encountered. His office follows through quickly on documentary requests and refilling prescriptions. Of greater significance, he returns calls to alleviate concerns expeditiously.
