Dr. Jorge Contreras, MD

This is my Go-To Doctor, he took care of my parents, he takes care of my husband and me . I trust this office. I have Epilepsy, a Seizure Disorder, a curvature in my lower spine, and the start of Heart disease. I can depend on Dr. Contreras and Staff when I have any kind of medical problem. I've known Dr. Contreras for more than 20 years.

Very genuine and passionate at ensuring that all of his patient’ needs are met and even above expectation. His staff Ms. Fanny is the most kind and understanding specially when booking last minute appointments. His FNP Kristen is my favorite in the world, very very good at paying attention to the smallest detail. Overall I never leave this office dissatisfied or dissapointed. They have a great team surpassing every level of proffesionalism. Not to mention that my entire household trustes being under the care of this Doctor’office. A very satisfied 10+ year patient.

I’d give him 0 if possible. He was recommended by my brother-in-law. What a joke. I went for my first visit with my med recs. I am HL-B27+ so I have a lot of autoimmune issues including iritis, vitiligo, Crohn’s, and RA. I had been tested for the HLA-B27 diagnosis. I had all of my test results and drs’ notes (9 drs in all). Besides needing a GP in general, I needed one to help me organize all of this. He told me I was lying. To my face. He said I just wanted attention. I was floored. My in-laws said he wasn’t like that so I went back to him. I got there in time and checked in. I was the only one waiting. People came in after me and went in. After waiting 3 hrs, I was called back. I let it go again. Next appt, same thing. Two hrs waiting, my phone rings. It’s the receptionists in from of me. She asked where I was (I signed in). I told her. She told me he will see me today but because twice I was so late and the dr had to wait for me, he won’t see me again. So I just walked out.

Dr. Contreras, his nurses & staff are WONDERFUL!!! When you have something wrong Dr. Contreras will not stop till he figures out what’s wrong & get you help/relief.

Everyone was very friendly. The visit was very thorough and quick. He found my problem and referred me straight to a surgeon. Their office has checked up on me and following my care through the other doctors. I am a very pleased patient.

I have been seeing Dr. Contreras for almost 10 years. I had gallbladder issue which could have been just diagnosed as gas or IBS. He ordered a CT scan and found a small growth on my kidney. Nurse called to schedule follow up and he recommended me to surgeon. I email him and get response back quickly. I call and am greeted by friendly staff. I have my checkups and Kristin emails my results. If I have a question or need something, I don’t hesitate to email or call. Dr. Contreras and his staff are like family. He listens and asks questions and wants his patients to be informed. I am just in my 40s and do think that Dr. Contreras ordering a CT scan saved my life - because the small mass removed could have grown into something affecting my livelihood in my older years. It takes risk-taking docs who listen to, know, and advocate for their patients. Thanks Dr. Contreras and staff for all you do!

Dr. C doesn't have a rude bone in his body....He is compassionate and most certainly accomadating. Some patients are just never happy. One of the main reasons physicians get burned out.

He is an awesome Doctor, patient and he cares about his patients

This is the WORST doctor i have ever seen. My mother goes to him and he is absolutely awful. He prescribes her medicine but doesnt call it in. Everytime. She sits there on Fridays waiting for her prescriptions and they never were called in. The pharmacy cant ever get in touch with him. She has gone many weekeds without blood pressure medicine. She had to get an mri done on and was very scared to get the results. He refused to call her for weeks cause he was busy. Do not go to this doctor!

Dr. Contreras is an outstanding physician... He always takes his time to listen to you and makes sure he addresses all of your concerns. After looking for a good doctor for many years, I can honestly say I have found one. His staff is amazing as well. I highly recommend him.

It's really refreshing to find a doctor who seems legitimately concerned about the health of his patients. I felt that way with Dr. Jorge. Very friendly, down to earth and knowlegeable. Takes time to listen and doesn't lecture.

My husband is a new patient and he loves this man. He listened and was down to earth unlike some who act like they are doing you a favor and rush you out . The wait wasn't long at all and the staff was helpful as well as making you feel appreciated and fun too. They made you feel relaxed, like being with your friends. I too will be going there soon! It's so hard to find a doctor you like .

Dr. Contreras is the best doctor my husband and I have been to. He has successfully gotten my husbands migraines under control when other doctors couldn't. He takes the time to listen to his patients. I will be switching to him very soon.

This is the worst Doctor I have ever encountered. My mom is a patient of his and he is very rude. The nurse staff is rude and make you feel like a burden. Nothing gets taken care of. The nurses have yelled at my mother in the past and hung up on her a couple times. The doctor is just as bad. Please save yourself the misery and pick another doctor.

This Dr. has been our entire family's GP for almost 30 years. While he always seems pleasant and charming, behind that facade is the other side of this Dr.. It is a common practice for many years, you make an appoint and arrive on time. I and other members of my family have been left in the lobby for up to two hours after our appointment time. As I said, this is common practice. He will appear outraged that you had to wait so long but, just like his charming facade, his outrage is also a facade.
