Patient
I was a patient of Dr. Ahn for several years. He continued to increase my medications as we spoke every month. Eventually I was on 2 SSRI's, but he never acknowledged the side effects of taking the drugs. He never discussed in detail the time of day to take them. I started having trouble sleeping. He then wanted to put me on a sleeping pill, but I refused. I felt I would be hung over the next morning. There were nights that I could not fall asleep til very late. As a result of lack of sleep, I was involved in a serious care accident as I fell asleep at the wheel on top of a steep hill. My car was totaled and the jaws of life were used to get me out of the car. Two other drs. questioned why I was on two SSRI's! Be careful that Dr. Ahn doesn't over medicate you, like he did with me!!! I was almost killed this past June!! When I tried to discuss what happened with Dr. Ahn, he became very defensive with me! Such a sad ending with this doctor! Be very careful you are not over medicated!!!
