He patiently listened to my symptoms, asked questions, did an exam, and then explained how and why the issues surfaced. Next, he explained the options for further exams and treatment. The end results were very good; no more balance issues and greatly reduced sinus problems.

Dr Alligretti has mastered his profession He converted my congested nasal passages into this wonderful new experience where I can really breathe and bring in extra oxygen. You can’t put a price on that and I am sooo grateful.

Is very personable and patient, he explains treatment to me in language that I can understand. He doesn’t rush through my treatment and answers all my questions. His P.A. Jacob, is very kind and friendly, he doesn’t hesitate to give me tips on things that can help my condition. The medical assistants and front desk staff are friendly as well. I recommend this practice to anyone that has the need to see an ENT specialist

I have been a patient of Dr. Allegretti and his practice for over 15 years. I had seen numerous other providers for sinus issues as I had gone without my sense of smell or taste along with severe congestion for years. Dr. Allegretti knew exactly what was going on and how to give me back my sense of smell and taste again. I was able to go off of all of my OTC medications that I had relied on. Dr. Allegretti took time to listen and I never felt rushed. Offices are clean and staff is friendly and thorough. Would highly recommend.

I went in for a bump on my tonsil and they performed a nasal endoscopy which was not needed or requested. My part of the bill was well over $200 for this unnecessary test. When I call and leave a message, my call is not returned. When I was finally able to talk to Tina in Billing, I'm told that they do this for all new patients. I could understand if that's what I came in for but it wasn't. This seems to me like an insurance and patient scam. And now I have to pay for this and they misdiagnosed the bump on my tonsil. A waste of money and time. It makes me sad that they get away with this.

I have been fortunate to be in the care of Dr. Allegretti for over 20 years and have recommended him to over 10 friends and family over the years who also have been equally thankful for his excellent care. He is the best in his field and cares deeply for his patients, as does his entire staff from the front desk to his PA. From my first appointment, through my surgery to remove a sinus cyst that had been left untreated by my previous ENT, to the continued maintenance care of regular Chemical Cauterizations I can't say enough about his expertise and care.

My visit to Dr A's office is always a pleasant one as I am greeted the moment I enter. He and his staff never show signs of being in a hurry! They take time to listen. We all know how important that is when you are going thru medical issues which are important to you. They are wonderful!

I have been a patient of Dr. Allegretti for several years. I have always had excellent rapport with his staff. I recently sought a second opinion and visited another ENT. What I discovered was that Dr. Allegretti and his staff is the best show in town. No need to look further.

This is simply my experience based on my Mom's appointment. We didn't even see the doctor and this was my experience with their downers grove location and office staff. I made the appointment for my mom. Got them the referral too since my mom has HMO insurance. I also gave them all her insurance details from get go. They must have called me 6 to 7 times to confirm the appointment. On the day of the appointment, when we were at their offices, they told us that he is not a part of her network so he will not be covered by insurance and we will need to pay out of pocket. obviously we left without even seeing the doctor. What a waste of time and what was frustrating was that they never told us this before but decided to clarify everything just before our appointment. I will try my best to avoid this practice not because of the doctors but because of their staff.

Waited to see this doctor for over an hour by recommendation of my dentist ,said to me “I see you had your tonsils removed “ No I replied.Should have got up and walked out.Tells me everything is okay and orders a bunch of tests.A 400 dollar 5 minute exam ,really don,t waste your time and money on these suburban doctors.Nortwestern University of Chicago and Rush you will get a good Doctor there
