Dr. Joseph Leveno, MD

Dr. Leveno was my gynecologist for most of my 40s. I went through a divorce and found out who he really is. He never told me about the hpv vaccine, he made that choice for me. At 47, he told me that I shouldn't be having sex if I wasn't married. I have NEVER been judged as harshly by anyone in my life. He allows his beliefs in 'being a christian' in making decisions FOR his patients and does NOT educate them in making decisins. He does NOT inform them and help them to decide, he does all of it on their behalf. I would NOT trust him. You have a baby with him, he will make decisions FOR you, as well as his patient. Not a good guy deep down. Find anyone else. His nurses operate in this same manner, or at least one of them did. Carol, his elderly nurse, word for word quoted him to me in sl#t shaming me. Run. Go elsewhere. I should have reported him to the board.

Dr. Leveno did my hysterectomy. He kept me informed about what to expect before my surgery. After my surgery, he came to visit me several times throughout the day to be sure I was OK. He was comforting, kind, and very professional. I heartily recommend Dr. Leveno for any female medical needs!

Be careful about unnecessary exams they do just to charge you more. I have an ovarian cyst and I needed a second Dr opinion on it. Previously I had only a transvagional ultrasound . But at Dr Leveno office They did an transabdomen ultrasound and couldn't see clear so they did an transvagional altrusound and charged me for both! You could just do the transvagional and charge me once!!

Dr. Leveno is awesome. He is highly skilled, kind, and professional. He was thoughtful and clear during our conversations and always made sure I understood the situation, all available options, and his recommendation(s). The office staff is also fantastic. Everyone is warm and welcoming. Appointments were easy to schedule and convenient. Dr. Leveno is both an excellent doctor and an excellent human being. It’s clear he is doing what he loves. Highly recommended!

I am so thankful for Dr. Leveno and his amazing staff. Because of a prolapsed umbilical cord, I had to have an emergency c-section and Dr. Leveno was able to get our little girl out safely in about 15 minutes from the time he found out about the issue. He is definitely the doctor you want to have in the case of an emergency. Not only is he extremely skilled and the best in what he does, he was very comforting in this terrifying situation. Dr. Leveno himself is very friendly & knowlegeable, if you can get enough time to talk to him. He is always very rushed & the staff will let you know he has other places to be. I guess pregnant patients are more interesting to him than his patients with other issues? He has more than once forgotten to mention important things to me until my follow-up appointment. The office staff is also very rude. They shuffle you around like you are a huge inconvenience & will gossip about you while you wait.

Dr. Levino delivered excellent prenatal and postnatal care to myself and newborn. Levino has excellent bedside manners, is very professional, and passionate about what he does. I would highly recommend his care to anyone searching for an OBGYN.

Dr. Leveno is very friendly and kind. However, he always seems rushed and does not seem to look over your records prior to suggesting tests and next line of treatment. He will suggest testing for things that he already has and only checks when you remind him; it's then when he back tracks. The front desk people are just something else. I've heard them talk about patients and blame patients for things that they themselves should have been on top of.

He is really caring and has an excellent bedside manners.
