3 years. 4 surgeries. Dr repeatedly ignored previous history. Told me I was wrong about a prolapse until 3 days pre op and said omg I'll be back. This is the smallest issues. Whole pregnancy ignored repeated pleas that my body would fail. It did had full prolapse and forceps were used with baby in distress and nicu needed. I wanted to believe his sweet demeanor but looking back highly negligent even in ppd. Brought it up at 6 week appt and he said too late.. see someone else. Always late.

I met Dr. Joseph Petty back in 2009 when he was a resident doctor at UMC. He delivered my first baby when my original OBGYN wasn't available. I just want to thank him again for being there. He was an amazing Doctor and would recommend him.

It was my first visit. It took longer since I had new patient paperwork to fill out. As to be expected. But I didn't wait long after. Dr. Pettys Nurse was great. Very professional. Dr. Petty himself gave off a very comfortable vibe. He was also very professional and prompt. I felt he listened and answered each of my questions to the best of his knowledge. I actually enjoyed a doctors office visit for once. I will recommend Dr. Petty to friends and family.

If you would like to wait in the office for almost an hour while his staff has an extremely loud "celebration" and no one updates you on wait time then... this is the guy to see. When I inquired if the doctor was running behind the receptionist said she didn't know but would check. She came back a few minutes later and said she didn't know because no one was back there to advise her. Apparently, his staff does not think patients time is also valuable. Unprofessional staff! No exam was done : /
