Around may/June 2019 I had an appointment to visit dr. Portoghese, my claim was that I have recurrent hernia . Dr.portoghese diagnosis was i didn't have no recurrent hernia. He suggested that I take over the counter medication to subside the pain. (My thoughts was I wasn't going to intoxicated my body with medication. I went back to my primary doctor and asked for second opinion. The second was that I have a recurrent hernia. And got an operation. I'm not trying to bash dr Portoghese. Just to say that he misdiagnosed me, and I'm glad I didn't intoxicated my body with medication. Not a good idea. He didn't have my best interest at heart.

Performed thyroid surgery on me several years ago, and I had zero complications or after-effects. Excellent surgeon.
