Dr. Joseph Racanelli, MD

I had a consultation with Dr. Racanelli last week. I am 54 years old and wanted a breast lift; Dr R was so honest he said most people would be pretty happy with what I have. I might get implants down the road for upper pole fullness, but that’s on the back burner for now. Onto body contouring and fat removal of the mid-section and hips with fat transfer to my melting tush cheeks. Dr R has a specially designed cannula that is extra thin and allows for precision fat removal with an ultrasonic tip that heats and liquefies the fat. This cannula requires extra time and patience, thankfully Dr R is willing to do it for the excellent end result. No lumpy fat. After careful consideration and meeting many surgeons over the last few years, I finally found my guy. I am very excited to have scheduled Nov 5th, 2024. Dr R and his staff made sure I feel well-prepared and informed. I intend to follow the pre and post op instructions for the most optimal outcome and will post updates along the way.

Amazing surgeon with gentle loving hands! Had a terrible eye injury where my eyelid was torn. I was brought to HUMC ER by ambulance where they did absolutely nothing! The plastic surgeon did not feel comfortable performing such a delicate procedure. Luckily I I reached out to Dr. Racanelli where he swiftly arranged and modified his schedule to see me immediately. Not only did he accommodate me he made sure I was seen that day by an eye specialist to make sure there was no internal damage. I am forever grateful as my eyelid has healed nicely with limited scarring with a natural appearance. I can assure his reconstructive talent is none like no other.

Dr. Joseph Racanelli is a doctor beyond words. He is has made my daughter’s self esteem sky rocket. Prior to having her surgery, she was timid and ashamed about her breasts. She would shield her breast while in the shower even when she asked for assistance. Now…she has no problem to show you the dramatic changes. She had wanted to reduce her breast since she was 14 years old. I expressed to her that she was still young and she needed to wait. We went to Dr. “Rac” (that is what we call him) in January of 2020. I went to Dr.Racanelli for a bbl. It was very hard for me to lose or gain weight and get the figure I wanted. For the first time in my eight year battle with cancer, I have been able to wear a bathing suit, have cleavage and be happy with the results of my reconstruction. It may sound vain or minimal, but for a woman who has gone through all I have, that is a won battle for sure and a break from my worries and self esteem issues.
