Wonderful Experience
Dr. Herz was kind, detailed & precise about what my cataract surgery would entail. The surgery went well & my vision is now better in that eye than the other.

New patient of Dr. Herz, and his assistant/technician did the refraction. I had new lenses made and immediately sensed a problem with my vision. I went to 3rd party to have the lenses checked against the optical script, and they checked out fine. I called the office and explained my situation. They told me I could get a ‘glasses check’ at no charge, but a 2nd refraction would cost $70.00 I asked what a glasses check would resolve, as I had already provided my old glasses and optical script for review. All I got in return was NSUH System double talk. I give this practice zero stars, and would not recommend this doctor and practice to anyone

Dr. Herz is wonderful!. He was extremely friendly and explained in detail what was going on with my eye, which turned out to basically be a floater. Yet, he took the time to let me know it was just all a part of "aging" (thank you!!), how floaters happen and that there is nothing to be concerned about. Technician performed a very thorough pre-exam as well. Office staff was very professional and the entire visit was handled very professionally.
