Dr. Judith Brooks, MD

My 94 yo mother moved to Port St Lucie almost two years ago, into an assisted living facility. Dr. Judith Brooks became her PCP, which was the best decision. Dr. Brooks goes above-and-beyond in caring for her patients and is a strong advocate for their needs. She is compassionate, gentle, and knowledgeable. There’s a quote that says, “the good physician treats the disease, the great physician treats the patient who has the disease.” This describes Dr. Brooks’ patient-centered approach to medicine. It’s a comfort to know mom is in her very capable hands.

Dr Brooks as well as Front Office Staff member were excellent. Both took the time to listen to and answer questions. They were both very professional and knowledgable. I would recommend this practice to anyone, especially geriatric patients.

Waited almost an hour in waiting room when there were no other patients.Refused to provide service that we were there for and was very rude.Also, her nurse put blood pressure cuff on elbow and did not know why it was not working.

Dr. Brooks is simply the best! Her level of care and compassion is unmatched, and she consistently goes above and beyond for her clients. I can't recommend her enough! If you're looking for a doctor who truly cares about your well-being and will go the extra mile to help you, look no further. Thank you, Dr. Brooks, for being the best!!

Rude, Defensive, and UnprofessionalI called and left a detailed message (insurance information, etc.) to schedule my first appointment with Dr. Brooks. I called on a Wednesday and did not get a call back the same day or Thursday, so I called her office on Friday. I informed the person who answered the phone that I left a message on Wednesday and had not heard back from anyone from the office. The person who answered informed that she returned my call. I let her know that I did not get a call back, so we verified my phone number. The receiver repeated that she called me back to which I told her that I did not get a missed call notification or voicemail message. Then I quickly injected 'Let's move forward' to avoid a back and forth match of what was previously established. I asked for next available time I could meet with Dr. Brooks. Then I specified an opening for next week. The receiver informed me that next week is full and let me know that Dr Brooks had an open availability for July

She listened to my concerns and took her time with me . I realize it's a new office and she's not always going to be able to do that but it was awesome to have someone spend that time to get to know me in my issues. She is knowledgeable and caring. Her staff is great!

Horrible doc who rushes appointments and no explaining anything. I would not recommend. Glad she is not teaching residents her poor medical practices.

Dr. Brooks is always cheerful, and Dr. Phillip Son was alwo very good. My only complaint is trying to schedule an appt. Long hold times.

Coming from working in a hospital network, I was treated specially by doctors that knew me. I wasn't sure what to expect being "NEW" to a residency clinic. I can sincerely tell you that the experience is wonderful. Everyone lets you know that they are there for you, anyway they can help. Questions are answered and explained thoroughly. Suggestions for improvement in any health situation is explored with the patient. Please go and meet the staff.... you will be happy you did!

The students, residents and staff are very polite and caring. They take interest and time in each patient, which means you may spend a longer time waiting, but definitely get better results. Love this practice! Just one thing... schedule online if you can, because you will wait FOREVER on the phone.

I find Dr. Brooks a vert kind and caring person,she spends as much time as needed with each person. I have never found her or any of the staff to be unkind in any manor at any time.

I won’t be back. I have extensive medical history. I am a patient at Moffitt Cancer Center. I have been sick for more years than the “ DO” has been out of medical school. Treated me like a drug addict. He needs to learn much more.

Heart and Family Health has friendly and compassionate staff and I was very happy with the practice until I met this doctor today. She was absolutely unprofessional and rude. She did not take any time to review my medical history or my medical history with in the group. She has no compassion or bedside manner and in the hallway upon leaving, in front of other patients, she discussed my current medical condition. I contacted patient advocacy but no one needs to be disrespected by a doctor.
