Dr. Julie Prosseda, MD

Dr Prosseda is a diamond in the rough. The staff at Stoney Batter is unprofessional and can be rude. I do not trust them to follow up on anything. I have no complaints about the nurses or medical assistance it’s mostly with the front staff. Dr. Prosseda should open her own practice as I love her and feel she has given me excellent medical care. I’ve been going to her for about 10 yrs and haven’t had a problem with her. She has listen to every concern of mine and has given me professional advice. I feel bad for her being in that office and feel she should be treated with the utmost respect

I’ve been going to her for years and she has been phenomenal.she’s very hands on with her patients. I can depend on her to give me good info and she will listen to my issues.

I (as well as my two children and husband) have been treating with Dr. Prosseda for almost 10 years. She is an amazing, attentive, thorough, patient and empathetic physician with a wealth of knowledge and a wonderful bedside manner. We treated with her while she was with Jaffe and Associates and under Stoney Batter Family Medicine. The Stoney Batter staff is so terrible, so unprofessional, discourteous and impatient with scheduling, phone encounters, test results, medication questions, etc... We feel as though we are not getting the medical attention and care that we deserve while Dr. Prosseda is at Stoney Batter. Unfortunately, while Dr. Prosseda is truly a diamond in the rough in our opinion, we will have to find a new doctor because of our experiences with Stoney Batter Family Medicine. Dr. Prosseda should open her own practice, she deserves better than the mess she is currently surrounded by.

Dr. Prosseda is an outstanding physician. She is very attentive and is a good listener. Several members of our family see Dr. Prosseda, and appreciate that she doesnt rush us thru our appointments. Very caring. Good doctor. We wish there were more like her.

I was a patient for 10 years and left because of a very bad experience. I scheduled an appointment, and they made me wait 40 minutes and barely apologized. They have zero respect for other people’s time. The staff at the front desk are not friendly either. One literally told me my concerns were none of her business. No one at this office has any empathy and needs to work on their customer service skills.

Dr. Prosseda is a wonderful family and personal doctor. We've referred friends and co-workers and all feel that we receive excellent care. Dr. Prosseda is one of the best in DE.

I am very pleased with Dr. Prosseda. She is respectful and listens patiently and answers any questions I have. She is caring and I dont feel like just a number to her. Through the FollowMy Health portal I can communicate with her directly and she always answers quickly.

Stoney Batter is a nightmare for patients. Office is understaffed and stressed. When you phone, the standard greeting is "Stoney Batter Med Ctr - HOLD". Click. Five calls later, and you might get satisfaction. Dr. Prosseda is adequate, nothing more. I am searching for a new doctor.

Talks to you, but is constantly entering information in the computer. Ask you, the patient what you want to do regarding a problem. Is quick to prescribe medications, doesn't suggest lifestyle changes, if possible. My husband visited her. He is diabetic, she never asked about his numbers or did she check numbers associated with diabetes. Moved location, but never sent out information about the change.

I've been a patient of Dr. Jaffee since infancy, and after a 25 year relationship she left practice. I rarely have any medical issues, but this episode of tonsil/throat pain became unbearable. My visit with Dr. Prosseda exceeded my expectations; she was patient, fully engaged, and knowledgeable. I already recommended her to my family.
