Good until it counted, then - DO NOT Recommend
All good with regular visits for several years but ultimately incompetent - cost me 3 days in emergency, denied all. I filed complaint which was not acted on. Had to have stints in and out 3 extra times. When confronted, denied all. Immature, unprofessional. A long, twisted tale, so he knows how to weasel.

Worth Traveling For
I had a very large kidney stone. As I reviewed where to go to get it removed, I found the description of Dr. Davalos ambulatory surgery for large stones. My experience was 10 out of 10. The doctor, the surgery suite and the staff are all top notch. My surgery was a complete success. I drove 120 miles to be seen by Dr. Davalos, it was definitely worth it, I give him my highest recommendation.

I had a tubeless PCNL and ended up spending 8 days in the hospital in pure agony. It was brutal.

Dr. Davalos took special care of my kidney stones! He is very kind, patient and knowledgeable. I would recommend him to everybody with kidney stone problems.

Davalos bungled a urothorotomy by slashing into the cavernosa spongiosum, unleashing a a torrent of blood, then discharged me without making any effort to correct his error. Only 12 hours in an emergency room at Mercy Medical Center and 2 days in its hospital managed to alleviate the excruciating pain and stop the hemorrhaging. To this day Chesapeake Urology has been silent on the matter, refusing to provide an accurate and complete operational report.
