Wow. Dr. Griffin did my reverse shoulder replacement surgery and I could not be happier with the results. His overall level of medical skill is complemented by his excellent patient communication & positive approach. I would also like to give a special shout out to his amazing staff, including Travis and Alexis, who helped make my overall journey a success as well.)I decided to use Jordan-Young’s physical therapy services and had an equally amazing experience with therapist Will Norris. Hands down, he was instrumental in my recovery. It takes a team to make any surgery successful. So if you need shoulder surgery, you will find no better than Dr Justin Griffin, his staff, and J-Y’s post-operative PT services.

I came to Dr. Griffin with tears in the supraspinatus, subscapularis, and long head biceps tendon, plus a dislocation to the biceps tendon, a labrum tear, and some scarring. Long story, short: I was experiencing moderate pain but with a significant loss of function, particularly for contact and combat sports. Dr. Griffin was able to see me quickly, and he and the staff at Jordan Young were pleasant, professional, and efficient. After getting an MRI, I was able to go to surgery a few weeks later, and my post-surgical course was quite remarkable - remarkable because I had very little pain, even during physical therapy. I was prepared for much more discomfort and disability but was pleasantly surprised at how well I felt (the first two days after surgery were painful, but almost nothing since then). I followed instructions and guidance faithfully and have had a great recovery. I am about 5 months post-surgery and am nearly back to 100%. Dr. Griffin has my highest recommendation.

I pretty much knew i needed a shoulder replacement. Dr. Griffin confirmed that for me. He also explained the type of prothesis and outlined what the surgery would look like. I liked his manner and professionalism. He was delayed in seeing me at the scheduled time and apologized explaining the cause of the delay. Griffin is all things shoulders.

Office is very busy but very organized. Wait was very reasonable considering the number of patients being seen. I would recommend to anyone having orthopedic problems.

I love that he is trying several options as a means to avoid possible surgical intervention. Just had my final visit to complete my shoulder surgery in July 2023. This was my 3rd surgery on the same shoulder; the previous 2 were done at the VA hospital. This time all of the correct repairs were made and my recovery was much smoother than before. Great team all around!

I called to make an appointment and I was in the office within a few days. Dr. Griffin went over the options with me for my situation and by listening to what my goal was he helped me chose the best option for me. Dr. Griffin was great at explaining what was going on with my knee and making sure I understood the plan once we chose an option. His PA's are outstanding as well and the staff. While the office is busy, you do not feel rushed at all. Instead staff took the time to explain everything from x-rays to images they took during surgery. I was well prepared for surgery and after care with the packet of information I received. I felt that they really listen to me and my needs. As I am getting back to normal activity level I know if I need to I can make an appointment and go back.

Initial visit Dr. G showed up with a gaggle of interns in tow. However, did take time to thoroughly explain and demonstrate the potential procedure options. Distant but professional, knowledgeable. I'd go through this procedure again without hesitation.
