Dr. Kalain Workman, DO

I was fortunate enough to have Dr. Workman perform my left partial knee replacement in January. It was done robotically and it went very smoothly! He is confident, caring, and answered all of my questions pre and post surgery. The staff in The Williamsburg office are kind, professional, and friendly! I am so blessed with my outcome that I have scheduled the other knee replacement for April with Dr. Workman! I have recommended him to numerous friends and acquaintances!

Dr. Workman and his staff are one of the best group of people I have had the good fortune of being treated by them Any chance I get, I tell everyone who did my knee replacement and how what special care I received. Being a former nurse, I can be somewhat particular in regards of who I want as my physician. Dr. Workman is not only a 5 star in my book but his caring and beside manner are far more than a 5 star. No matter how busy he is in the office, he will fit in procedures for you that wasn't planned, such as, withdrawal of fluid in your joints and having to give injections in your joints to help eliviate discomfort. I am 10 weeks out from TKR and I am gardening, swimming, cleaning, baking and walking really well. I am so happy with Dr. Workman and his staff, I am having my other leg done, also. That one needs to be a robotic procedure and I have full confidence that Dr. Workman will do the same excellent surgery and I will be able to do all the things I love to do.

Dr. Workman did a partial knee replacement on me in May 2024. He was so gracious and caring in the consults leading up. In addition, he provided pain management options that kept me comfortable without having to take narcotics for more than a few days post op. The incision and scarring looks amazing now at 6 weeks out and it will only get better! His staff and the entire TPMG office always made me feel seen and known as I navigated this procedure. So highly recommend Dr. Workman!

Dr. Workman repaired both of my knees with a partial for each one and the results are incredible. The Mako robotics he uses are absolutely fantastic for accuracy and results. After 26 yrs of the Army beating my knees & 11yrs endouring the pain, I am ‘new’ again and can do anything. I am an avid cyclist and intend on being back on my schedule of 75 miles a week early in the Spring now!Dr. Workman is very caring, spends a lot of time with his patients, answerd all my questions and even told me questions I should be asking.An absolute first-rate experience . Dr Workman has performed two hip replacements on me and the surgeries are life changing. To be pain free and pursue the activities that were lost to pain and arthritis is a gift that I have him to thank for. He is very thorough with exam explanations of options and diagnosis. I saw Dr. Workman for persistent pain in my knee. He recommended a total knee replacement.He was very caring and empathetic. He gave me a wealth of literature and information on the surgery prior to the surgery itself. I felt knowledgeable and well informed.He answered all of our questions and took time to listen. He did a great job of my shoulder surgery. He responded well to some issue that arose. His bedside manner is very pleasant and seems to care for his patients.
