Bedside manner is baseline condescending.
He did not take time to ask questions of and listen to my teen boy. He made lots of assumptions but no attempt to get to know him as an individual. My son said he felt like he was treated 'like a stereotype'. The feedback Dr. Tolba was giving didn’t apply at all to my son but he wouldn’t know because he didn’t take time to ask, just assumed my kiddo was into soft drinks and gaming. My son is athletic, clean eater, rare electronics etc. No important convos relevant to young athletes (eg hernias, heart discussions, other relevant concerns of athletes) . Secondly, he ordered labs and didn’t tell us they were “fasting” (waste of my time from work), he got my name completely wrong (assumed my last name on records instead of asked). All in all, we will keep looking for a doctor who prioritizes individualized care not a mechanical one size fits all approach.

Terrible bedside manner and absolutely no compassion for his parents. Quick to judgement and doesn't listen very well. He always seems like he's in a rush and barely listens to the answer to his question before he's giving you his opinion.
