PLEASE! Seek second opinion!
Performed a surgical procedure to relieve a remnant gallstone problem. Dr. Maur failed to successfully address the problem and offered no coherent explanation for his failure. Told me that he’d refer me to a specialist in Pittsburgh—but has never gotten back with such referral information. I will never again permit this individual to provide me medical information or service. I strongly advise all prospective patients of his to seek a second opinion. Better still, I recommend finding an alternative physician altogether. Very upset and disappointed. I will document cost of this failed treatment once notified by my insurance carrier.
